One of Québec’s best-kept secrets and one of the most spectacular view of the Old Town. Located at the heart of Old Québec City, the ride (one-way) takes about 12 minutes. During summertime, discover the marked bike paths located on both sides of the shore: Corridor du Littoral (Quebec City) and Parcours des Anses (Lévis). In winter, the mouvement of the ice on the St. Lawrence River is truly impressing.
Taking the ferry is fun and easy. I enjoyed being on the water and seeing the city from the ferry. I enjoyed visiting the shop with artwork made by locals and also watching the children enjoy playing in the water fountains in the playground.

This local ferry runs from May to October.
Worth a stroll about especially when the markets are on, some interesting stalls, especially the maple Syrup stall that still make the Syrup in the traditional manner. The range of honey is very interesting especially the Rose Honey. Again it is close to the Old Quarter and an easy stroll about.

Ferry service between Oka and Hudson on the Lake of Two-Mountains (Ottawa River). Operating from April until December.
Took this ferry several times with my bicycle. Very clean, staff are professional. Quick load, 12 minutes to cross and quick departure.

Have used it several times. Worked smoothly every time. Good service on board. Very well equipped with a fairly good cafeteria. You can also browse through the nice little boutique which has quite a nice selection of various souvenirs.

Open 24/7/365. Up to 6 boats in service on summer weekends. We cross everything that is legal with the ministries of transportation under 57 tons. Crossing only takes 5 minutes.
Staff is always friendly and smiling. These guys love their job. Fast and efficient way to get to and from cottage country Quebec.

I had to take this ferry for work with a tractor trailer. Kinda neat. I arrived the night before in order to get a spot. There was not really a need as I was the only one there and the ferry had plenty of room. It may be worse at the height of tourist season. My French leaves something to be desired so the attendant spoke to me politely in his accented English. From the start in Riviere du Loup til the end in Saint Simeone the ride was enjoyable and the scenery was beautiful. I can’t really say if the pricing is adequate as I was in a semi. They have day trip options I believe if you want to get to the other side and return in/on the same day. And also, walk ons are accepted if all you want to do is poke around on the other side. Like I said scenery is beautiful and worth the drive and monetary expense. You will like the view and the drive north and south from Saint Simeone is lovely. And as always you should call just to make sure. Cheers!
