Alpaca walking in the South Yorkshire countryside. Meet the alpacas ! Walks last approx.45 minutes across the countryside with added time to fuss and feed so the whole experience is around an hour . Our Alpacas all have names and are well trained and friendly .we have 22 lovely Alpacas ranging from baby ones to old ladies ! They are calm and well behaved and ideally suited to people with special needs . We also do Weddings,Care homes, birthdays etc and you can also find us on Facebook! We also do Alpaca Glamping with our beautiful 6 meter Bell tents which are well equipped for a night under the stars with the Alpacas . Contact us for full details
We visited Tickhill Alpacas yesterday and had a great visit. The alpacas are lovely and clearly very much loved and cared for. The owners were so friendly and gave us lots of information about the alpacas. We really enjoyed it and will be returning. Thank you ????

Excellent for younger children and know ds who like animals, to free to go round, although they are asking for donations that go towards food and animal care. When you finish in there, just a bit further down the road there's several shops to visit if you want

Destination to visit and tourist attraction with many amenities. The site is free to visit and has a cafe, boutique shops, animals to feed, garden centre, picnic areas and more! The area offers lots of stunning walks and cycle trails and Pot House Hamlet has free car parking allowing you to explore the area at your leisure.
Proving a firm favourite with us to treat ourselves, when possible, to lunch here when the dog is at the Groomers on the same site. On this occasion we scanned in and were offered a choice of two tables, as we were going to have paninis and coffees for lunch we went for table by the wood burning stove tucked away to one side, as other than a staff member top the stove up with wood twice we didn't have anyone walking past us. Track and trace had only recently come in with QR codes to be scanned on arrival. Easily done and no issues though. I had the steak and brie hot sandwich and it was very very nice !! Equally my daughters lunch with the hand cut chips was good - I was partial to stealing a few chips as they were amazing !! Then we just sat there with a coffee, no rush, until the groomer called my mobile phone to say our dog was ready for collection. There are other shops you could browse here too and a small petting area with animals popular with children, lovely place to stop off.....be warned the cafe does get busy ...one day I might get around to trying the tempting looking cake ! Note - Dogs are allowed inside too !!! In the summer there are often tables outdoors too, but once into autumn mostly indoors.

What a lovely day is to be had here if you want safe and peaceful family fun. The maze felt safe with plenty of room, fun games to play in the field afterwards (bean bag throwing games, go karts, space hoppers etc) and comfy hay bales to sit on and enjoy the sun and scenery. Beef burgers are home made and generously sized; and the Maizy Moo icecream is really delicious. No e numbers, just from the cow, with flavourings if you want them. One of my favourite summer outings...

Cannon Hall Farm is a large, family run farm attraction. Sitting in the rolling Pennine foothills, it's home to hundreds of animals, waiting to welcome you to a world of animal magic. Home to one of the biggest and best equipped playgrounds in the north of England and the largest tube maze in Europe our adventure playground is one of the biggest and best in the north of England. The farm shop is famous for home produced beef, pork, lamb and a huge variety of sausages. Our on site bakery produces award winning pies and delicious artisan bread every morning. The tearoom serves delicious home cooked food. The Hungry Llama indoor play and restaurant adds a great indoor option with some dramatic slides and innovative play features to a day that's already packed with fun. Winner of Best Visitor Attraction in the 2018 White Rose Awards.
What an amazing day, started with an awesome breakfast at The White Bull, hot bacon & egg bap, with hot buttered toast and tea, perfect start to a wonder round the farm, met Ranger Roger, Farmer Ruth, Farmer Kate, Farmer Robert & Farmer Darrell, who all had time to chat and have a photo, fantastic visit and will definitely come back again.

A REAL working dairy farm supplying Sheffield with milk delivered the same morning its come from the cows Super Fresh Milk.Open to the public to visit the animals for free with free parking. The farm is also the home of Our Cow molly ice cream its all made on the farm using only the farms own milk & cream to which is added the best quality ingredients. At the farm you will find a deluxe range of flavours that's only available to buy at the farm & also take home in tubs.Follow on Twitter OurCowMolly Please Note: we are a real dairy farm not a petting zoo or farm park, we only have cows & calves & aim for you to see what a real farm is like.
Great choice of ice creams made on the premises. Our favourite is Bakewell Tart ice cream. They also sell their own milk too. It is great here on open farm Sunday as well as you get to go around the farm and see the milking sheds and how they make their ice cream and milk :)

A beautiful woodland trail with chickens, red deer, donkeys, alpacas, pigs, rheas, ponies and much more. The gift shop provides delicious local produce including free range eggs, rare breed pork, Sheffield preserves and honey as well as gifts to remember your day out.
We come here with our 1 year old very often and have done so since she was born. It's a muddy walk when it's been raining which can make it difficult with the pram. I'm a typical dry day it's lovely, there's plenty of animals to see and they're all quite friendly so the kids get a good look. There's a cafe with a play area that's also really good, they've just redone the play area so it's even better and the hot chocolate is delicious!

We've been going to Lawns Farm Shop for years, the staff are really friendly and the food is top notch. Home made food and other locally sourced, high quality products and of course their lovely milk produced from the cows on the farm. Really meaty sausage rolls and large scotch eggs that don't have a big gap between the egg and sausage meat like the mass produced stuff so are really tasty and filling. They have milk, cheese, pies, ready meals, chutneys, sauces, coffee's cooked ham, home made dripping and delicious potted meat, fresh duck and hen eggs, black pudding, sausages, bacon, Barnsley chops, liver, gammon etc etc, we had a rump steak last week and it was so tender it was like eating fillet steak. There's usually a fruit and veg stall at the weekends and occasionally the Coffee Rover makes it in to serve barista coffee straight from converted Land Rover. The courtyard parking is small but there's now overspill parking straight across and it's on a quiet country road. Lawns just keeps getting better and better, we love going.

A lovely afternoon picking your own strawberries ???? There is plenty of room to socially distance in the field. The kids loved seeing the horses and chickens on they way up to the field. Spent a couple of hours here and had an ice cream from the cafe.

Boston Park Farm is still a traditional working farm, our animal trail allows children to get up close with a wide range of farm animals. You can pet and feed most of the animals and on special days we have animal handling sessions. The whole experience is geared up to suit children up to around 10 years old. We have outdoor play equipment, a mini maze and bale pyramid also inside there is a soft play area which is suitable for babies and toddlers and a large indoor sandpit. You and your child can have hours of fun exploring everything we have to offer here at the farm. We have a Maize Maze which is open from Mid July until the end of October each year. Pleas see our website for admission prices and opening times.
