Delicious farm fresh ice cream and dairy products. Idyllic location as on the grounds of an immaculate farm. Very friendly service. A great stop when in Lancaster County.

We recently stayed in the Lancaster area for a quick getaway with the family. We decided to spend some time at the Eastland Alcapas, as we were looking for outside activities fun for all ages. We were more than impressed with the facilities, attention to detail, and customer service offered at Eastland Alcapas. Kevin and Sue are sweet, knowledgeable, and kind. They have a wonderful operation and allow visitors to interact and know the alpacas and lamas in their property. I was joined by my elderly parents, Gilberto and Margarita, and can attest that they too had a wonderful time. Kevin was especially kind to my Dad who has mobility issues. If anyone is looking for something different to do, please give Eastland Alpacas a visit. You will learn and have lots of fun.

I have frequented this farm MANY times and always find what I am looking for, If not I ask and always get help. Learned a lot from them and taught them some of my tricks of the trade. I make this a trip at least 3 times a year for supplies and just for the ride.Family is very friendly and we look forward to chatting with them on our visits. I have taken many friends with me on other trips as well. Great Prices and very accomodating. If you are a gourd person, its a trip well worth taking. Bob and Bonnie recommend a visit, jsut seeing all the gourds in the field can give you ideas.

Great daytime farm experience for all ages! We went with a group and our young tour guide, Lizzie was very sweet & informative. We did the farm & garden tour & hayride where we got to feed & pet farm animals, milk a cow, learn about their upkeep, walk through & taste a garden of seasonal vegetables & personally drive a hayride drawn by horses. Highly recommend!

Visiting this Amish family farm was the highlight of our stay in the Lancaster area. Sadie, the 14-year old daughter, who escorted us on the 'tour' was a joy, educating us and answering all of our questions about the farm as well as Amish family life. She led us through the barn to meet and feed the animals: the baby pigs, the horse and mules (the biggest mules you have ever seen) who eat raw spaghetti, the baby goats which we held for several minutes, milking the cow, the calves who sucked on my fingers when they wanted more, the chickens to whom we fed alfalfa, the baby chicks, more pigs and turkeys. And the freshly laid eggs (still warm) and different colors. Kyra (sp?) the collie puppy joined us throughout and was a great deal of fun. Well worth the $13 price.

We are only open Sept. through December 24. Alpacas, Angora goats, and Free Range Chickens roam the farm in harmony. As a family, we raise these animals for their fiber ( and their delicious eggs). We breed the alpacas and sell them. The fiber gets processed and sold as well. The farm store is full of warm and soft alpaca fiber products. Quite a few of these products are handmade right here on the farm.

This farm offers the Maize Maze attraction in 10-foot-high corn stalks.
We had a great time at Cherry Crest. My toddlers loves the experience. They loved the petting zoo and wagon ride and the alpine slide and the pedal carts. They enjoyed the mini village, holding a chic and all the rest of the stuff. Its a great place for kids of all ages. They have many activities that are geared towards different age groups so everyone gets something fun to do. The staff are super nice and friendly and that makes the experience so much more pleasant! I would very much recommend families to go there and would love to visit again. Just one piece of advice- check the weather before going. We went on a very hot day (over 90 degrees fh) and I would not recommend anyone else to do so. There are lots of open fields and everything is outdoors. They do have two big fan mists that helped cool the kids but it was not enough to help with the heat. But my kids had a great time anyway!
