We make our own yarn in our mill from wool from our sheep and alpacas. We also make olive oil-based soap, Good Karma Soap.
Loved our visit here! Amy was so kind to show us some animals and we were able to see much of the production process. I will love knitting with the yarn that I bought there. We also bought some great smelling soap.

We had a lovely time visiting the Glendarragh Lavender Farm on a hot summer day. The farm is full of different colors and varieties of lavender, all spread out in various groupings around the property, including the greenhouse where the fragrance is amazing. There are lots of Adirondack chairs placed in various locations to sit and take it all in and there is a picnic table and seating if you'd like to have a meal amidst the beauty of the lavender. Inside the pretty barn is an assortment of lavender-scented gifts and dried lavender. I was able to navigate the pathways between the lavender plants with a motorized scooter and was able to enter the barn easily on foot, just one tiny step up. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Come experience our working Maine farm winery continuing an over 200 year old family farming tradition. We make our wines from the grapes grown in our vineyard as well from Maine wild blueberries grown in our fields. While you are here enjoy the views as you explore the grounds. Have your lunch in the vineyard, you might be lucky enough to see our resident hawk soaring overhead looking for a tasty treat.
This was my husband and I's first time attending this winery and had a great time! The staff were friendly and especially loved their slashes! They had strawberry and blueberry which were both delicious and you could purchase the mix and wine as well. They had small cheese plates to purchase from Appleton Farms (I had the garlic and herb which was delish). There was also cornhole by the tables and plenty of space to social distance without being on top of people.

Aldmere Farms is a neat place to stop and see the herd of belted Galloway cattle. We stopped on the roadside and watched these beautiful cattle grazing in the field. These type cattle are not seen very often and it was a neat thing to see.

What a great find! We stopped to check it out and were very glad we did. We ordered beer and oysters and received a shucking lesson right at our outdoor table. We had so much fun opening our oysters and of course they were very TASTY!!!! It was so nice to experience this place and good to know that they offer free shipping - which we will do from home. It'll be nice to know where the oysters we buy are from and that they will be fresh!

20 acres of wild blueberries harvested daily in august and frozen fresh and sold after fresh pack sales are over. Only 1% of this crop is sold fresh to the public and even in Maine, wild are different from cultivated, which are also commercially sold in Maine. Come and try the flavor and health benefit of fresh, wild berries that are not sprayed with herbicides and are ready to eat.
I drive from New York! Wonderful people, amazing blueberries. After all these years, i consider them friends!!!!

I recently visited this little farm and it was such a treat! The owners gave a wonderful little tour, talked about the animals, showed them off and had such a cute store as well. They were kind, patient, knowledge and happy to talk. You feel like good friends after just an hour with them. Thank you for opening your farm to visitors, it was such a delight! We will have to order more alpaca fiber when we run out!
