The farm holiday Casale delle Lucrezie has lovely and comfortable double rooms (there is a fantastic SUITE) and indipendet apartments with private bathroom, indipendently controlled heating, TV and a large swimming pool with a magnificent view on Todi and surrounding. The Italian style breakfast, with cakes, home-made jams and typical local products is served in spacious rooms and, upon request, international breakfast may also be organised. The Casale delle Lucrezie Agriturismo in Todi features a new Beauty Centre (SPA), opened in December 2009: a great chance for our guests to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable holiday or weekend in Umbria, surrounded by nature! Our establishment is also strategically placed geographically for reaching the most beautiful and culturally important citis and towns of Umbria such as Todi, Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Spoleto, Spello, Gubbio, Montefalco, the Marmore water falls which be reached in a short time by car.
We just couldn't believe how excellent this place was when we arrived. Hands down, it is like heaven. Great view over the valley and the ancient Roman settlement Todi. There's a big garden to relax, a swimming pool with the same breathtaking view. For those who like to be active, there is a gym and in the rare case of rain there is a pool table, chess and more. Raffaele and is mum are so kindhearted and went above and beyond to give us a holiday of a lifetime. Ow and the BREAKFAST is to die for; homemade cakes, bread, fruits, yoghurt, you name it and it was there. Can't wait to visit again one day.

We had a group dinner here. The food was outstanding. Fresh and Plentiful. It was a true Italy experience. Pablo the owner and I think at least the 6th generation was there, as was his son, and his little grandchildren. "Alba" the cook prepared a meal for kings. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I would go back again in a heartbeat and will tell everyone they should eat here. We didn't stay there overnite, but I would have!

An enchanting Relais, a romantic and exclusive retreat just 5 km from the center of Perugia, where you can forget the bustle of the city and regenerate your mind in the rolling Umbrian hills. You will find the warmth and attention of a finely restored historic home, with the services of a small charming hotel, where you can relax and enjoy the pool, the garden and the rich library that preserves a wide selection of books to discover at it’s best Perugia and Umbria. The Relais Casamassima is also a place for the celebration of civil marriages; can host receptions, birthday parties, dinners or lunches by reservation, or tastings of olive oil, wine and typical products.
We enjoyed four nights in a spacious suite at Relais Casamassima. We can't say enough about the responsive and knowledgeable staff, Lucetta and Alessia. They were always there to help and were very easy to communicate with. The accommodations are just as advertised. Do be aware that dinner, unless pre-arranged is no longer served daily. But the dinner we did arrange for our arrival day was excellent, as was breakfast every morning on the terrace.

The farm accommodation “La Valle del Sambuco” (The Elderberry Valley) is situated in a valley placed 3 km away from Norcia. It’s surrounded by the mountains and crossed by the Sordo River: the ideal place where to spend a short or long holiday being “cuddled” by the nature. Thanks to its strategic position the guest can easily reach all the beautiful surrounding places.
Good room and nice location, though for this area the view is quite unremarkable. Good breakfast for Italian standard. But is this agriturismo? I asked if they had any activity, but they do not, just their private pets. Therefore I do not feel this classifies. I have been at other Agriturismo places in Italy and been served milk, cheese, yoghurt, meat, juice and marmelade all home made from the cow/field, but here this is not the case. So nice stay, cheap, but quite average. Service was great though - they really tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

We stayed with our 2 kids, the place is in the middle of olive trees, just outside Assisi. It is excellent location if you want to avoid staying in the center, but close to the village. The room was large and clean. Plenty of parking, very quite area. Good breakfast with homemade cakes and biscuits. We found the price excellent for the quality of the stay. The owners were extremely kind and discrete. The guy gave us lots of great tips for sightseeing, he knows a lot and conveys his passion for the valuable surroundings. If I went back, I would definitely come back. I would recommend the place, I do not see how people can’t love it.

A beautiful and serene farm to help you get away, truly relax and rejuvenate. This bed and breakfast is situated in the middle of a peaceful and picturesque Italian countryside. We were hosted by a wonderful family (Massimo and his two sons, Samuele and Emanuele) who were the definition of hospitable. I was amazed at this self-sustaining farm. It was as if everything we ate, was made in house (pasta, oil, vegetables, cheese, etc). I was in awe and impressed from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Can’t wait to visit again.

We wrote a review for this lovely casale 4 years ago, when we stayed here while exploring Umbria. We had many challenges with our GPS, cell phone and rental car, all of which were improved by our host Nadia. (So above and beyond her responsibilities!) This June, we returned for more exploring, now feeling more comfortable in the area. Again, the warmth of the welcome we received, the quality of the accommodations and the magnificent breakfasts were awesome. We got great recommendations for restaurants in the area, and Nadia even gave us a tart for our family's train ride to the Amalfi Coast! Highly recommend.

The farm holidays is an old farmhouse, wisely restyled, composed by 4 apartments which maintain the country style but have the modern comforts required to spend a pleasant holidays between the beauties of Umbria and Tuscany. Toys for children, a lot of relax spaces with beds are in the middle of a big garden available for our hosts where you can play any kind of sport, read a book with quiete atmosphere. Outside you can find a barbeque. Out back-land is rich of green fruits which you will find over the table too every day. At last the relaxable context, our 4-foots-friends which are going to stay with you all the time. Bicycle available ! We are a family-run business endowed with the passion of those who always did what they believed in
After being washed away by heavy rain from a campeggio in western Tuscany, we were forced into finding a new accommodation, and preferably not another camping this time. Luckily, we soon found an available apartment at this Agriturismo near lake Trasimeno. This concurrence of events couldn't have turned out any better! Upon our arrival we were very warmly welcomed by the hostess, Eleonora. She enthousiastically showed us the neatly furnished apartment including a kitchen with dishwasher, the animals that reside in the garden (donkey, chickens, goats, horse...), the large vegetable garden and the laundry room. She told us as intelligable as possible in Italian that we could pick fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs from the garden and eggs from the chickens whenever we needed anything. And so we enjoyed the fresh tomatoes, onions, and more every day during our stay. We didn't use the nice family barbecue that's also in the garden, though. When we didn't enjoy the tranquillity from one of the many terraces in the garden and on the roof, we went on a trip to lake Trasimeno, Perugia, Arezzo, Cortona, Montepulciano or another magnet in the vicinity of Castiglione del Lago, which by the way is picturesque of it's own as well. When we wanted to stay an extra night, a transfer from one apartment to another (the place was almost fully booked) was no problem at all. They even helped us move our heavy bags! The only downsides I could find are the (not so busy) railroad around the corner, no wifi, and the lack of a swimming pool (which I wouldn't have used anyway). This, however, was more than adequately compensated by Eleonora's warm welcome, her homemade biscotti, nonno Francesco's hardly intelligable Italian stories (he just talks louder when he notices you don't understand him), his tasty biologically produced olive oil and Merlot wine, and of course the surroundings. Agriturismo Doce Verde is definitely worth a recommendation!
