In Seattle you simply can’t skip the Central Public Library – a modern architectural marvel of glass grids, unusual shapes, and a “book spiral” that climbs four stories. Stroll over to Pike Place Market to visit the original Starbucks and play catch with a fishmonger. In the heart of the city lies Chihuly Garden and Glass, which will dazzle you with its colorful and delicate works. Glide to the top of the Space Needle for panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges and Puget Sound.

We are the oldest continuously operating retail produce stand in the historic Pike Place Market of Seattle. We are the home of Oh My God fruit and vegetables. We can ship anywhere in the country through FedEx overnight shipping.
Whatever Mike offers you, it will not disappoint! With so much to put in your belly in the area you're missing out if you don't stop by here for the best fruit you'll ever try. Taylor Gold pears and OMG peaches when you can get them. Best Rainier cherries in the PNW. They don't play when it comes to what they source. Went home with some plums, mangos, apples and dried strawberries on our latest trip there. and they always hook up our dog with a treat too. Great people providing great produce.

One of the few authentic farmer's markets in the United States, this hub of delicious scents, delectable eats and delightful personalities attracts nine million visitors a year.
Whether you live in Seattle, or are visiting, Pike Place Market is an awesome experience for every sense. You'll be surrounded by color, food, flowers, art, artisan cheeses, meats, flying fish (!), local arts and crafts, street musicians, and a great selection of restaurants from casual to one of the best kept secrets in Seattle - Maximillen's French Restaurant - tucked away behind the fish market on the south end of Pike Place on the top level. A wine list to die for, and fabulous French cuisine.

We stopped here on a Saturday night and talked to Zach about purchasing perhaps a 5 pond salmon on Sunday morning before ou flight home to Phoenix. Next morning we met up with Colin, who was very excited and very happy that we had returned. So as part of the fun, if a customer purchases a fresh fish, they get to catch that fish from over the counter- a distance of about 25 to 30 feet or so. My wife and I wanted the King Salmon, so the smallest one was an 8 pounder. Colin coached me really well and I did catch the fish! What a lot of fun and the salmon we chose provided us with (8) 1 pound beautiful fillets. They do box it up for you (good for 24 to up to 48 hours for traveling according to them) and provide an ice pack inside it. The only somewhat frustrating thing was that they said it was TSA approved, however, when we got to the airport , TSA had to open up the completely sealed and taped box to inspect. No biggie. Thank you to Colin and the Pike Place Fish Market for a fantastic morning, and awesome memory of our brief 2 night stay in Seattle! Extremely glad we did this!

Good safety measures during Covid! They keep count of how many are shopping. This means that you may have to wait in line. When we arrived before it opened, the line was several blocks long. Shoppers don't touch the food. Masks are required. The hours are Sunday from 10:00 to 2:00. There's a wonderful variety of extra-tasty fresh produce, meat and bread. I'm loving the yellow string beans. We got some delicious bakery treats one time. My wife bought a strange looking conical cabbage. It has a good flavor, nothing weird. The market stalls provide so many treats for the eyes. We saw strings of multi-hued chili peppers. The "All You Need is Loaf" bakery stall has some beautiful unusual loaves of bread. You'll see a lot of punny amusing names such as "Nature's Last Stand." Another stall has a variety of gorgeous mushrooms! The merchants association provides 3 free parking lots right there in the Junction area. The market is one block from the transit center. There are a variety of cafes, restaurants and a Starbucks there along with the inestimable Bakery Nouveau. So take a friend and enjoy some fresh air and some very fresh food!
