Hamilton Farmers' Market is the only authentic Farmers' Market in Hamilton. Meaning that all vendors must be the growers, bakers, coffee roasters etc. Established in 2006, this market has recently moved to a large refurbished horse barn at the back of the Claudelands Events centre so hail, rain or shine it is a great place to purchase fresh meat, fish, vegetables and quality baking etc.

A very popular art and craft market. Lots of variety and good quality products. Also a variety of food stalls/caravans for snacks or lunch. Plenty of parking in paddock off Glenmore Road for gold coin donation to scouts at the gate.

The Bay of Islands Farmers Market operates an authentic Farmers Market in Kerikeri every Sunday morning 8:30 am to 12 and in Paihia on the Village Green 1pm-4pm every Thursday. We are open rain or shine. All produce is produced in the Northland region and sold by stall holders who have a part in the growing or production of what they sell. If you have any questions feel free to ask the stall holders, they are more than happy to tell you about their products and how best to cook or store them. Come along and purchase some of the freshest products you can find direct from the producers and support local producers.
We went to this lovely little market after disembarking from the cruise ship. Lots of beautiful handmade gifts and local produce to choose from. It’s only a small market, but was a lovely way to spend some time whilst in Bay of Islands.

Mangawhai Tavern Market, a beautiful place to hangout! Something for everyone with such a great variety of stalls. Come down and meet up with family and friends. Grab a coffee, check out the produce, have something to eat and take in what Mangawhai & Northland have to offer. The Tavern open their facilities for service at 10.30am and the garden bar has live music to sit back and enjoy your day
Behind the Mangawhai Tavern this weekly market had a great selection of arts, crafts and food on offer. Fresh vegetables, artisan bread, cured meats and cheese. Every Saturday 8.30am - 1pm

Recently visited Napier and went to the Farmers Market and really enjoyed this. There was plenty of variety and choice from fresh produce, plants, crafts and pastries, coffees etc. Was a small market but enjoyable. Bought some delicious bread and cheeses.

What is the big deal about a local farmers market. Usually not much. This one though was a worthwhile adventure. Could not believe the extent of wares, foods and such available. Walked away with creamy cheeses, raw milk and great veggies. Scored day old strawberries (two quarts worth) for half price, which happened to be right out of the garden. There is something for everyone here. People were leaving with full bags of goodies.

the Taupo Market is a must do activity when in town on a Saturday - this vibrant and well-organized Market is ever changing and has something for everyone - fresh fruit and vege, great coffee, sausages, garden art, baby wear, paintings, carvings, wind chimes, belts, plants and seedlings, preserves and the yummiest baking, baskets, jewellery and clothing, fruit wine and honey. and, and, and ... there is lots of seating - you can listen to popular music - talk to the vendors and make new friends The Taupo Market - be inspired ...
This is the first time we visited this market and are wondering why it has taken us so long!! We are from out of town but have often visited on weekends in the past 18 months, enough to warrant going. There are some very good stalls with plenty of variety for birthday and Christmas gift ideas. One particular stall has cheap greenstone pendants, the cheapest I have seen for a long time. I am super-happy with my purchase there. There is plenty of sinful food to eat, including churros and donuts. There is no shelter from the weather elements, so be sure to dress accordingly and/or bring an umbrella. We will be back for sure!!
