New York’s Finger Lakes region takes its name from 11 freshwater lakes placed like a handprint between Lake Ontario and the Pennsylvania border. Skiing, hiking and biking trails traverse the landscape; visitors can also indulge in various wine, cheese and beer trails. The area offers a culinary bounty, with an emphasis on farm-to-table cuisine. Rich history and culture are found throughout the region, with one attraction more inviting than the next.

Farm fresh creamline milk bottled straight from the farm, delicious baked goods like grandma used to make and fresh, locally grown products. Visit us during the fall season for our special events; including a Corn Maze, hayrides, and more!

The Ithaca Farmers Market is an owner–operated cooperative market with over 160 members, who grow or produce their wares within 30 miles of the pavilion. You’ll find a full spread at the market with something for everyone — hot prepared foods, a full spread of vegetables, fruit, cheese, pastured meat, wine, cider, eggs, bakeries, and exceptionally crafted artisanal gifts for your loved ones.
We visited on a Saturday morning. There is plenty of parking, just wear appropriate footwear as the parking lot is wet and muddy. About 85% of the vendors were there when we went. Everything from fresh vegetables to wines, ciders, local crafts, honey, prepared foods, and coffee. We tried a couple of empanadas which were phenomenal and our only regret was we didn't buy more. Highly recommend.

The market was everything I was hoping for and more. Within five minutes of being there I was greeted by a nice young man from a fresh fish still who gave me an introduction to the market when I told him I had never been. The variety of products was incredible, the efficient operation and friendliness of the people was delightful, and the atmosphere was lively and interesting. If I lived nearby I could see myself doing over half of my grocery shopping at the market every week. The next time I am anywhere near Rochester I will plan another visit.

This local institution has always remained true to its' roots...organic, eclectic, humanely + locally sourced. Such a pleasure to have the new location that can add to those qualities the following: -abundant and well-lit parking lot -spacious shopping aisles -beautifully displayed goods (especially the produce!) -a large selection of bulk items -an even larger selection of specialty items with knowledgeable staff to advise (vitamins/tinctures/cbd personal care/etc...) It's a Gem!
