Whether you are looking for sun-drenched beaches or outdoor activities in beautiful countryside, New Jersey has plenty to offer. Those who love the great outdoors should head for the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, which runs along the Delaware River for forty miles. Here you can go rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking or fishing, or simply admire the stunning waterfalls. There is a huge range of hiking trails to choose from as well as historic sites to visit. In winter, you can enjoy cross-country skiing near Blue Mountain Lakes, and birdwatchers might be lucky enough to catch sight of bald eagles. If you are looking for a change, visit one of New Jersey's eleven lighthouses that are open to public, such as the one in Cape May. For art and history enthusiasts, New Jersey State Museum in Trenton has historic artifacts and American fine art from the nineteenth century to the present day as well as a Planetarium.

This is a wonderful spot to enjoy delicious craft cocktails made from their own spirits. The owners and their staff are terrific and the ambiance is quaint. Situated in a renovated historic warehouse/lumber yard, there are old photos on the wall, a fireplace and a cozy seating area. They don't serve food but you can bring your own or order delivery from local joints. And sometimes there is music or trivia or Chicken S#!t Bingo.

We were staying in a town, nearby, for a long weekend & were looking for fun things to do & decided to check out Little Water Distillery! Our visit truly exceeded our expectations! Mark & his staff are amazing! First off, do the tour, hear the passionate amazing story behind this family venture, & you won’t be disappointed! All of the cocktails are very tasty; the “mules” are made with their own ginger beer & spirit of choice! The spirits are all very good! I love the story behind the names! We will return the next time we are in NJ! I encourage you to also support this small business!

We are the first and only distillery located Historic Mount Holly New Jersey At the old train station at 25 Madison Ave. we are making A rum vodka Gin Bourbon we offer free tours and tasting and we are family friendly
We went here on a Saturday night. We wanted to check this place out and try some of their drinks. There was live music playing and the place was full of people having a great time! We had our infant and toddler with us, and they welcomed our family into the distillery area where all the magic is made. The woman working was teaching us about how each alcohol is made and how long the entire process takes. We even got to do a taste test of what they had. Their white rum is my favorite! We decided to go outside by the fire pit and have a couple drinks. I had a delicious cranberry mojito while my husband had an old fashioned. On our way out, we decided to buy a bottle to bring home with us. We’ll definitely be back!

We discovered this place by serendipity during our weekend exploration of the area. What a great gem of a place! So interesting and completely unexpected. In the middle of nowhere signs leading to...distillery. Beautifully located on Muddy Run, surrounded by the South Jersey bucolic landscape this place was open, inviting and emanated with pleasant relaxing atmosphere. This being 2020 they follow the rules imposed by the reality of coronatimes and serve their drinks in lovely outdoor setting with social distancing. The drink and cocktail menu is extensive and interesting but one can also buy their whole bottles of their artisan spirits, perhaps a great gift idea for a responsible drinker. They are proud to be Salem County New Jersey's first legally operating distillery since prohibition and New Jersey's first farm distillery! Someday we need to visit this place for their life music event! Obviously not a venue for <21 ...

We are a family-owned grain-to-glass distillery in Woolwich Township New Jersey. We make all our Spirits by hand using locally-grown grains and fruits. We love having visitors, making cocktails and hosting events but everything must be arranged by appointment these days. We are enjoying a Season Outdoors while Covid 19 continues to govern our behavior.
I went with some friends for a tasting and the owners are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We spent all afternoon just hanging out with them and trying everything!!! We will definitely be back!
