Great place for some unique cocktails. The salt and pepper martini is amazing! Service was great. A good little spot to have a couple of drinks. Make a reservation as seating is limited.

A few dozen feet up the hill from the Lolo Creek Steakhouse, is this distillery and tasting room. Absolutely spectacular views, a great outdoor seating area to include fireplace, friendly and well-informed wait staff, and a great set of products and specialized cocktails. Definitely "plan our travels around visiting this place" when we are in the area next.

Glacier Distilling Company is a locally owned, small batch distillery located on the doorstep of Glacier National Park. All of our Montana spirits are hand crafted and hand bottled in The Whiskey Barn. Next time you’re wandering through, stop in for a sip of dew!
Not only is their offering mind-blowing, the atmosphere has charm. An all around delightful experience. Now, the choices are HARD since you’ll want to try nearly everything. One must pick strategically since by law they can only sell you 2 flights. I ended up buying: Bad Rock Rye Kirschwasser Daughter of the Sun Huckleberry Gin Huckleberry Liquor Little Cottonwood Bear Grass Those are my Montana souvenirs!! Note: MT law limits how many bottles they can sell per person per day. So you, too, may have to go a couple times or go to State Liquor Store.

Whistling Andy is truly a grain to glass distillery. Their spirits are derived from real, unmilled grains from local farmers with whom they have real, personal relationships. There are no shortcuts or automation and there is a face to every step of the process; real people and real stories. Unlike many grain to glass initiatives and high-class liquors, Whistling Andy is very innovative, even industry leading with their products. Whether it's finding age old recipes or unique new blends derived from what's in season, there is always something exciting coming out of this distillery. Named after the father of head distiller Brian Anderson, Whistling Andy Distilling prides itself on the importance of family, personal and community relationships.
We stopped in while killing some time and felt like we were a local! The bartender was so engaging and entertaining that we quickly built a rapor with the other visitors in the bar and had such a fun time. I’m not a whiskey girl so the flight wasn’t my cup of tea but when the bartender started adding a little bit of their specialty lemonades to them I fell in love with the cucumber gin. Fun to stop in and have a drink when in Bigfork

A craft distillery using traditional methods and Montana ingredients to create fine spirits & cocktails.
Beautiful ambiance with history, and elegant spirits and cocktails. I’m not normally a gin fan — I liken the taste to drinking cologne — but I thoroughly enjoyed their Whyte Laydie and bought a bottle to bring home. It may be the only gin I ever buy! Good thing they offer free tastes, or I would have never known...

We are a community-oriented distillery that seeks to express the Montana experience through spirits distilled in small batches using the finest ingredients sourced from farms and fields throughout Montana. In our tasting room we aspire to a relaxed and convivial atmosphere in which to gather with friends, sample our spirits, and enjoy craft cocktails. We feature live music regularly and have a charming patio attached to our tasting room.
Made our way down to Hamilton to check out some spots and ran into Westslope Distillery. A small distillery with a very interesting background and with different kinds of spirits to offer for purchase and drinks to make. So very relaxing, wonderful drinks, and will definitely go back when we can! Definitely worth the stop if you are close by or look for their spirits in a local liquor store!
