Although I love to go into the city of Chicago for theater, Drury Lane was a nice alternative. The quality of the performance was good. There is free convenient parking and no traffic to deal with.

This was our first show at Circa 21 and even though it's a 2+ hour drive we will go back! We saw "Kinky Boots" and the cast was superb! Our seats were great and it seemed like everyone was able to see. The food was just ok, but with 2 tix for less than $100 it's forgivable!

Here for a long weekend, went here on a Saturday night. Great entertainment with fantastic service from Sugar. Awesome insight to the speakeasy time in this city. Good cocktails.

Such a wonderful afternoon!! We have been to Barn II 20 years ago and thought it was time to go again. Friends invites us and we jumped at the chance. Got there was welcomed by the friendly staff and was seated at our reserved table near the stage. Salad was waiting for us and drinks were close behind. After a few minutes, we got to go through the buffet line with many yummy food items - Fried chicken, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, mac & cheese, California blend veggies, biscuits and some brunch items too - bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs. Dessert choices were good too! After we got to leisurely enjoy our meal, the main event got started, the play - Funny Money. It was funny! We had a great time laughing and snickering every moment at the play. The best afternoon we had spent in a long time!!

Critics agree, this is a 'must-do' when visiting Chicago. Get ready for the wildest Bingo Brew-Ha-Ha that Chicago has ever seen! This family friendly interactive show takes you to a church Bingo fundraiser held in a rowdy German beer hall, where you'll become a polka dancing, prize winning, bingo fanatic at this raucous, comedy hit. Live music and delicious Italian dinner included!

Considered one of the hottest tickets in town and an excellent theatre/dinner ticket value, Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding is an all-inclusive night of entertainment presented with the 1980’s throwback feel of the original NYC production. A hilarious, full wedding experience from the I do’s to the buffet to the bouquet toss Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding will not disappoint!

We went to Medieval Times in Schaumburg in September 2019 with a bunch of other couples. We rode motorcycles from Des Moines to get there. Folks, it was such a blast! The food is naturally gluten free and it was amongst the best roasted chicken I’ve ever eaten. The sides were also gluten free. As someone with Celiac disease I have to be careful and am very sensitive. I can happily say I was not contaminated even by accident. They have a great drink menu as well and cheering on your knight while eating and drinking simply makes for an awesomely fun (k)night! It is without hesitation that I highly recommend a visit to Medieval Times in Schaumburg, Illinois. Be sure to stay over at one of the nearby hotels. We stayed at the Radison and it was also great!

Sit at home, watch a movie, and munch on goodies while in your favorite chair. Sound familiar? Well, that's the experience at Hollywood Palms except your food is prepared for you and brought to you by the experienced servers and your easy chair is plush, comfortable, and like a Lazy Boy in being adjustable so your feet can be propped up. But the kicker is the movie you are watching is a current film on first release, not something that came out years ago. The theater is at the far south end of an extended shopping strip mall. There is ample parking with entrances to the north and south ends of the building. A ticket booth is inside between the entrances, You see there is room for folks who want to have a nosh before or after seeing a movie, and there are tables and chairs for them. A bar serving various drinks is nearby. There is a passage that takes you to the various mini-theaters showing the individual films where there are the rows of seats available. Note: you can pick your seat when you buy your ticket either on the day of the showing or in advance. This is a convenience when the movie you want to see is very popular. One complaint I was told, but did not experience: the movie's sound level is pitched high. So ear plugs for the sound sensitive might be a precaution. But we did not have a problem. The food is generally good for the setting. Don't expect anything that's going to be honored with Michelin stars. Just good ordinary comfort food from your neighborhood diner. Washrooms are clean and close at hand in the lobby area.
