Due to the lack of tourists in Dubrovnik, I had the opportunity for a private wine tour with Mario in early September. As someone who works in the wine industry in the U.S., it was a true pleasure to spend the day with Mario receiving an incredible overview of the grapes grown and wines produced in the peljesac pennisula in Croatia. We began the day visting an oyster farm where we tasted oysters fresh from the sea on the boat paired with wine. Not a huge fan of oyster's, I'll try anything and I'll say they were quite tasty. We then had three different tasting with three vastly different wineries, providing a lovely overview of the wine history of the region. I then enjoyed a three course lunch at a beautiful restaurant by the sea before stopping in Ston, a sleepy historic town before we made our way back to Dubrovnik. Mario is an engaging host who knows his wine and the region very well. I'll definitely be in touch when I return to Croatia hopefully sooner than later! Thank you for a fantastic day! Highly recommend if you find yourself in Dubrovnik and want to explore the local wines!

Tour was amazing, tour guide Andro who is also an owner of the tour company was fantastic. It was raining really bad during our tour he took us to a cafe to wait for rain to pass a bit and after he tried to fit everything in for us to have best experience. He was on time and was flexible with time because our cruise was a little late on time originally schedule for a tour. He made sure we were happy and wanted my kids and I to go places we wanted and answered all the questions we had plus had such a great knowledge of the history of the region. Made my girls and I fall in love with Montenegro thanks to Andro. I highly recommend this tour you will be highly satisfied! If I could give it 10 stars I would!

National park Sutjeska is one of the oldest and the largest parks in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Various wild natural shapes of landscapes will amaze your soul and make you want to stay there forever. Numerous walking paths through the thick wood, fresh air of the river valley, admirable beauty of the lakes and historical monuments are only part of the rich touristic offer. The park is also famous as being the location of the Battle of the Sutjeska which lasted from 15 May to 16 June 1943 during World War II, where the Partisan were victorious over the German occupying forces in a battle. In the battle, the Partisans were led by the Supreme Headquarters of Yugoslavia by Marshal Josip Broz Tito who foiled the enemy’s plans. The Partisans were successful in breaking out of the encirclement even though they lost one third of their men. Several large Partisan’s Memorial stone monuments commemorate this event at the northern edge of the park at on the way to primeval Perucica forest reserve

We warmly suggest to take this tour on in order to consciously experience the Bosnian capital, to understand its distinctive architecture along with its welcoming people. Ms Dzenana guided us through the memories of Sarajevo in a two-days-trip that we will remember forever...There's nothing better than studying a heart-breaking past while looking at the beautiful contradictions of this small cosy city. We appreciated Dzenana' selection of highlights, the wise alternance of didactical moments and relax at cafes, her enthusiast attitude and her accuracy.

Lukomir is the highest and most isolated village in Bosnia. This hike is also the most popular hike in the country. And for a good reason. It offers all: amazing views, long walks, culture, history and legends. This is the most popular one day trip from Sarajevo. We start our tour on the southern slopes of Bjelašnica mountain, from medieval Umoljani village. We will make a short stop on ancient necropolis at Dolovi, and then continue towards Umoljani. We will then pass through Gradina - highland summer village, and go to Studeni Potok stream. On the way, we will visit 40-meter Peruće Waterfall before continuing to Lukomir. Our last stop - Lukomir village. It lives the same life for more than 600 years, Bosnia’s highest and most isolated mountain village. On the edge of the village you will be treated to a breathtaking view of Rakitnica Canyon. We will have traditional homemade lunch prepared by our hosts. You will also have the opportunity to purchase local handcrafts
Inclusions: Hiking sticks, Fantastic Bosnian traditional, home-made, freshly cooked lunch by locals in Lukomir. (Available options: halal, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free), Trail mix on the trail., Coffee and/or Tea, Air-conditioned vehicle, Private transportation
Exclusions: Alcoholic Beverages

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Croatia. Our guide was amazing! Everything was perfectly choreographed, including free time, and we felt so welcome and comfortable and well taken care of. If you can swing it, do add the wine tasting and the oyster tasting to the day trip. The oysters were probably the best oysters I've ever eaten, and we ate them with the man who grows them, on his boat, right where they grow. It was an experience we will never forget! Worth every Euro!!!

Olympic skiing, NO! But we will venture up that way, start at the Marshal Hotel, and disappear into the forests next to the ski slopes. We’ll hike around the eastern ridge to the open valley on the opposite side of Bjelašnica’s highest peak. Above the valley of Stirna lokva we’ll have a phenomenal view of Treskavica and Visočica Mountains and if it’s a clear blue-skied day one can see the mountains towering from the Montenegrin border.

Nice guy (representing “Now Bosnia”), well informed and well presented. Good tour around the old town but perhaps lacking in historical data. He answered all our questions but was more interested in us and used us as a sounding board for his business plans.
Srebrenica lies in eastern part of Bosnia&Herzegovina, 75 kilometers from our starting point Sarajevo and 10 kilometers from serbian border. It was very quiet, peaceful place till Bosnian war have not started, which brought europe largest mass murder (8,000 Bosniak residents were massacred and 10,000s others were forced to leave in July 1995) since the holocaust. We will visit Srebrenica Potocari genocide memorial and cemetery located in Potocari, if you want to see all madness that war causes, Srebrenica visit is a must. Two persons are minimum required for this tour.

I had an excellent walking tour with Samir, the owner of Travel Bosnia. He personally met me even though I was the only one who signed up for the tour that day, which was greatly appreciated. He was on time and professional, very knowledgeable about the city and the history of each stop on the tour. The pace and content was just right for what I was looking for. The tour hits a lot of the primary city center highlights that you will want to visit, and with a lot more context than doing it on your own.
