The park offers everything that is needed for an exciting safari. Great landscapes, many animals, especially elephants! We were very close to the elephants and were very lucky to be able to watch a whole herd and also some baby elephants. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize our tour guide - not only did he inspire and excite us with his very good mood, he also saw many small animals with his trained eye and answered our questions thoroughly. The 3 hours passed by in no time and gave us many nice memories. Would totally recommend booking a trip with these guys :-)

Jeep Safari is the regular norm in exploring the Wilpattu National Park. While Leopards, Elephants, Sloth bear, Deer, endemic birds can be sighted easily during a half-day safari, of course, the full day safari at National Park affords greater joys with wildlife. During the safari, the tourists aren’t supposed to get off the jeep at the tracks of the wild animals and expose themselves to the possible encounters in the wilderness. With the rangers at the Wilpattu National Park guiding the wildlife safaris, the visitors are always safe though in the thick of wilderness.

We spend few days with Ruwan who drove us around cultural triangle. He was very helpful during the whole trip and our overall experience was definitely better thanks to him, e.g. organising Village dinner at very short notice which was really enjoyable. He also got the contact details to the ayurvedic doctor, who could help me with my skin condition. Very much appreciated! We also stayed at his homestay, which he runs with his mother. The place is comfortable and clean and very convenient near to airport. She cooked us amazing Sri Lankan breakfasts and dinners (papadam were insanely yummy) – we could not eat all as it was too much food. We had very good time with them and highly recommend when visiting Sri Lanka!

This was an absolutely exciting excursion we tried in Dambulla in 2017. We were safely taken care of until we landed and were treated with a lovely round of champagne. The ride was totally fun, you could get a really spectacular view of the area to a very large extent. It was really fun to move through the mist and wind. The safety measure were high and the team was well experienced. A team would follow the balloon throughout on a jeep and arrive at the destination to help with the landing.

Everything about this tour company was wonderful. After getting no response from the large operators such as Classicwing Travels, I found this tour company on Facebook and they certainly went the extra mile on all aspects to make our 7 day trip everything that we eagerly waited for. From elementary discussions with Upul Karunarathne, you get the feeling that you are dealing with a professional. Everything was itemised and costed, with a truly bespoke tour put together for us (we had a few off the track sites that we wanted to visit, and these were accommodated for). Everything was well-organized prior to our arrival with good recommendations on hotels and attractions to make sure we got the most out of our trip. Kumara (our chauffer guide for the whole 7 day trip) was one of the most ardent individuals we met on our trip. He has a comprehensive knowledge and incessantly pointed things out along the way that were of enthusiasm, whether it be a plant, animal or place of worship. He has a real passion for his country and it was great to hear about the history that this tremendous place has. He literally couldn't do enough for us he was always cheerful. Everything could be customised on route, and we altered the day activities as we wanted. This made it that much more relaxing. Kumara was always glad to work around what we wanted out of the day, and not what was in the schedule, which we loved. The vehicle we had was a new Toyota (KDH) van with air-con and we felt very safe throughout the trip. We had the best time in Sri Lanka and I would highly recommend this company with much confidence and equally look forward to using them again in the future. I just got back from a 8 night trip.to.Sri Lanka and was super.amazed by Mr Thilanka from Holiday Walkers. Of course the tour was good. However what impressed me.most was , --about a week before the tour I thought I need to cancel , I had already paid 100%. Thilanka spoke to the hotel and got me a 100 percent refund !!! . We were so.impressed. However, we then proceeded with the tour as planned and had a magnificent time !

You'll get amazed about Yapahuwa and its beauty once you visit this place, A royal residence in 13th century Yapahuwa was able to preserve some interesting remains. While many traces of other ancient defenses are still seen, an ornamental stairway remains as the main piece. Of all the ancient ruins in the country the Rock Fortress Complex of Yapahuwa is considered to be quite remarkable despite the fact that it isn't famous among most visitors. However, it is renowned as one of the best archeological site in the country. It is even rumored to be more significant than The Rock Fortress in Sigiriya.
