We did the 1/2 day that included a visit to Olympia, Klio's Honey Farm and a quick trip to the beach. Our driver gave us some highlights to the island, but he really wasn't a tour guide, per se. When we got to Olympia, we did have a very good guidebook, as stated in the description of the trip, that allowed us to easily navigate Olympia at our pace. Immediately after our visit, we drove up to a honey farm. Klio showed us how they gather honey and we had a honey tasting with fresh made filo. Our driver then took us to a beach area where we spent a little bit of time. Since it was not warm, we just took some pictures and went back to the ship. Overall, it was a very reasonable way to get to Olympia and to visit a honey farm.

The very good comments on Tripadvisor encouraged me to book a half day tour with Dora and I can tell you that it was a wonderful and amazing experience. Dora managed our transfer from our ship to Olympia and back. We were a family of 10 in a luxurious Mercedes minivan. Dora answered all our questions and gave us a lot of information about the local history and culture. She was a great guide, I will never forget her kindness. Free WIFI and water which was highly appreciated. I can only encourage you to use her services. Thank you Dora for these unforgettable memories.

Also went out to Olympia, messene and the Diros caves with Aristoteleia. She was excellant and all the tours were VERY enjoyable. Would recommend paying a bit extra for the private tour and the flexibility it gives you. The extra notes that were provided for Olympia and Messene were great and very useful. Also very informative just to chat to someone about the local way of life etc. THANK YOU ARISTOTELEIA.
