It was our first time in Brașov, also our first time with a tour guide. We had a great day with Florin, he was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about Brașov and its history. We enjoyed our tour thoroughly and, although we weren't so vocal, he managed to mix history, local knowledge and personal stories to keep us entertained and engaged. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Brașov.

Together with my wife, I operate small group tours for Australian clients under the Tripwired Tours label. After a comprehensive reconnaissance tour of Romania organized by Diana Condrea of Uncover Romania in 2019, we had a tour group booked for spring 2020 but owing to border closures we had to cancel. Diana has been an absolute jewel throughout this tough time, keeping in touch, keeping us up to date and best of all she has managed to return 100% of the deposit we paid through her to various hotels in Romania. This is a stellar performance, and the kind of measure that restores confidence among travelers in this time of uncertainty. As soon as we are able to take a group to Romania we'll be back there, it's a part of Europe unlike any other, and of course we'll be organizing our tour through Diana.

Built by a professional photographer, the bear hides in the Tusnad area are designed to offer tourists the best bear watching experience in Romania. A one-way mirror window prevents bears from seeing inside so that tourists can safely watch these animals from as close as 10 meters. Sometimes they even come right to the windows. The bear hides are specially built on the ground, at the same level with the animals and they are completely safe. Moreover, they are perfect for professional and also amateur photographers. Inside, there is enough space to sit down and relax while enjoying this wonderful experience. We are against wildlife hunting and because we promote sustainable tourism, we want our guests to see living bears in their natural habitat, not at the ZOO or in a reservation. You will be picked up from your location in Brasov and taken to Tusnad area, where you will participate at the bear watching activity. In the end, you will be dropped off at your location in Brasov.

Inclusions: Private transportation, Air-conditioned vehicle, English speaking guide, Pick up and drop off at your location in Brasov, Access to the bear watching site, Alcoholic drinks tasting at the bear hide

Exclusions: Meals and snacks, Water & drinks

All roads go to... not to the proverbial Rome in this case, but to the heart of Sibiu's Old Town, the Big Square.
