Jose was a really great tour guide- from beginning to end. He customised our itinerary to ensure we visited all the places important to us, and still added in a few quick stops along the way which were surprisingly beautiful and well worth detours (especially the most western point in Europe). Highly recommended tour, great experience

We did a private tour to Coimbra and Aveiro with Touch Tours in the first days after the reopening post Corona on 24 June. A super positive experience. Spacious luxurious vehicle, super punctual and caring guide called Tiago, full respect for the new corona safety measures - I travelled alone with my 3 teenage children. The commutation with Touch Tours (André) from start to finish was impeccable. The company listens to what you want to do. We are very satisfied.

We had booked this trip months ago and were not sure what to expect. It was expected to be a small group and really lucked out when it turned out to be just the 2 of us!. We had the best driver Celso Araujo with his very confortable BMW and our very knowledgeable, polite and professional guide Gonzalo Murta. Celso was very cautious of the road as he drove us while Gonzalo gave us a very detailed history of how Portugal came to be throughout the years of wars and conquests, very impressive!. He really knew his stuff. Once in Porto we had of course a porto wine tasting which was included in our tour and it was really very interesting. Afterwards we had lunch in a typical Portuguese restaurant(delicious) and then on to a 50 minutes river cruise also included in our tour. We walked the town as Gonzalo pointed out most of its landmarks, did some souvenir shopping and returned to the car which Celso had at the ready!. This was a very pleasant, informative and enjoyable tour. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a great day in Porto. Hopefully you too luck out and get to meet Gonzalo and Celso!. They were amazing!!. ????????

Explore the Serra da Estrela mountain range in the Centre of Portugal on this private day tour from Porto. During the winter months, in the highest point on the mountain, the Tower, tries to do the best known sport in the region: sit on the floor on top of a plastic bag and slide down small slopes. It's guaranteed fun! Or you can make a snowman by using a few sticks to decorate and a scarf that doesn't mind getting wet. Children will absolutely love it. During the summer, on clear days, the view may be shorter to the sea, in the area of Figueira da Foz. People who love to spend their holiday amidst mountains and beautiful nature must visit Portugal's biggest mountain. We will start the tour in a locality named Pinhanços, existing since the Arabian era, where you will learn how to make and eat Serra da Estrela Cheese, a speciality which you must never miss. With only one day to see Porto (which is not nearly enough), we were thrilled with the tour. My favorite was the trip to the lighthouse at sunset, which was spectacular. Our guide picked us up at our hotel and showed us all of the top sights. Then he dropped us off for the dinner/fado show (which was pretty cool too). He picked us up again after the show and delivered us back to our hotel. Overall, one of my favorite evenings on a two week European tour.

We had exception service on our transfer tour from Porto to Lisbon. Punctual pickup from our hotel. Coimbra, Fatima and Tomar were our stops. Highly recommend Tomar. No tourists and it felt like a person experience. Coimbra - DescriptionCoimbra, a riverfront city in central Portugal and the country’s former capital, is home to a preserved medieval old town and the historic University of Coimbra. Built on the grounds of a former palace, the university is famed for its baroque library, the Biblioteca Joanina, and its 18th-century bell tower. In the city’s old town lies the 12th-century Romanesque cathedral Sé Velha. Fatima - DescriptionFátima is a central Portuguese town that's home to the Sanctuary of Fátima, a Catholic pilgrimage site. The Capelinha das Aparições marks the spot where the Virgin Mary allegedly appeared in 1917. Other sacred sites include the Basílica de Nossa Senhora do Rosário, with its golden angels, and the modern church of Igreja da Santíssima Trindade. The Museu de Arte Sacra e Etnologia exhibits religious artifacts. Tomar - The Convent of Christ (Portuguese: Convento de Cristo/Mosteiro de Cristo) is a former Roman Catholic convent in Tomar, Portugal. Originally a 12th-century Templar stronghold, when the order was dissolved in the 14th century the Portuguese branch was turned into the Knights of the Order of Christ, that later supported Portugal's maritime discoveries of the 15th century. The convent and castle complex is a historic and cultural monument and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983.
