Famous as the home of Yankee Stadium, elevated trains, and dense apartment blocks, the Bronx is also the greenest of New York City's boroughs. Visit the gorillas at the famous Bronx Zoo or wander through the 50-acre forest at the New York Botanical Garden. Pick up some gourmet foods on Arthur Avenue, the Bronx's Little Italy, and have a picnic at Van Cortlandt Park, which features two square miles of boating, horseback riding, tennis, and the oldest public golf course in the United States.

I spent the fast with Maurita. I made a list of the places we went: Carrie Bradshaw's apartment 'Sex in the City'. 'Friend's' apartment. Cafe where Meg Ryan made a spectacle of herself - 'When Harry Met Sally'. Bob Dylan's apartment in the 60s. Stonewall - where the gay pride revolution began. Movie poster/location from 'Once Upon a Time in America' - Brooklyn. Statue of Liberty. Went to a Pickle festival... Saw the oldest cemetery in the US. Walked around Chinatown, The Bowrey, Greenwich Village and Williamsburg. Little Italy... grabbed a coffee at ther cafe that introduced the Cappuccino to the USA. This cafe just happened to have Caravaggios student paintings in it. Walked the Brooklyn Bridge.. My feet felt broken at the end of long full day... ???? Maurita is not a native New Yorker but she's been here long enough to love and know it. She's a writer so is very interested in NYs history. I visited places I would never have found or thought of looking at. Happy to answer questions and just a nice person. You'll have a good with this kind of unofficial tour.

Amazing tour with Marcos! The tour was given in both Spanish and English and the amount of information that was told was unbelievable. The sites we were taken to, the organisation of the tour and the general atmosphere in the bus is to be commended. Would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone!

Bronx resident, historian, and food aficionado, Susan Birnbaum, takes you to some of her most cherished spots along Arthur Ave in the Belmont section of the Bronx. As we wend our way through New York's "Real Little Italy" Susan also shares the rich history of the neighborhood including Fordham University, The New York Botanical Garden, and the famous Bronx Zoo. Taste the best, authentic Italian treats available anywhere in New York. See thin ribbons of fresh pasta and warm, fresh mozzarella being made before your eyes. Susan even knows a man who’s been hand rolling cigars for decades. Munch on handmade cheese, freshly filled cannoli, and many more delicious tastings!
Inclusions: Tour is led by a licensed NYC Sightseeing Guide, 8-10 tastes from local shops that reflect the neighborhood's diversity, Bottled water
Exclusions: Transportation to/from attractions, Gratuities
Here we go! Edgy NYC - off the beaten path - the markets of Queens, the magic of Brooklyn, the raw history and culture of Harlem. A private guide and separate chauffeur will pick you up from your Manhattan or Brooklyn hotel and take you on a 6-hour adventure through the most authentic and culturally rich boroughs of New York. Using a combination of walking and driving and we can tailor the tour to suit any special requests you may have. By having a private guide and a separate chauffeur driver, you will maximize what you can see in the 6 hours - being dropped right outside the attractions - and walking off road with the guide, whilst the driver drives round to pick you all up from the next spot. The guide and driver will work together to give you an exclusive and insightful experience of our city.

I booked a tour with my mother and we had Gary as our tour guide and Boris as our driver. Both were superlative. The staff took what I wanted to see in NYC and designed a plan to see most of it. Gary's knowledge of history and movies of New York was great conversation for the tour and Boris was a perfect gentleman helping ma get in and out of the SUV.
One of the best ways to see New York City is by bike. New York City has over 1,000 miles of bicycle lanes and paths, reaching every corner of the five boroughs. We offer customized tours that are tailored to what you are interested in seeing. All tours are led by our a licensed NYC sightseeing guide who is also a professional urban planner. Our guide is also credentialed by the City as a “star guide” due to his extensive knowledge. In setting up your tour, he will reach out to you to put a 2-hour ride together based on your interests and how far you want to ride. Our rides are also ideal for more advanced riders who are looking to ride a longer distance (and see more) than what might be offered on a standardized tour open to riders of varying abilities. Suggested itineraries include: Central Park Manhattan and Brooklyn waterfronts & the Brooklyn Bridge Greenwich Village Coney Island and “Dead Horse Bay” Brownstone Brooklyn Rides to local breweries Rides to the best pizza
Inclusions: Bottled water, Snacks, Licensed NYC Sightseeing Guide who rides with you
Exclusions: Lunch or dinner is not included, Rental bikes not included. Bike cost is typically $35-40 depending on bike.
I loved the bike tour! Lukas and Laura were fantastic guides, the scenery was beautiful, directions easy to follow, and beer delicious. I’d highly recommend this tour!
This tour begins with a ride into the South Bronx, a neighborhood in the midst of transforming from one of the country's most notoriously dilapidated into a revitalized community with an increasing number of hip bars and galleries. We will also pass through a suburban part of the borough, now without a trace of what, 25 years ago, was compared to a bombed-out Berlin at the end of World War II. Then, at the serene falls of the Bronx River, you won't believe you're still in the city! Lunch in the Bronx's Little Italy sets you wandering through an indoor market with hanging sausages, homemade pastas, gourmet sandwiches, and delicious pastries. At Poe Cottage, you learn the story of Edgar Allen Poe's move to the Bronx and hear a reading of his poem Annabel Lee, written upon the death of his wife in this very home. From there, we visit the magnificent campus of Bronx Community College, home of the first ever "Hall of Fame" and set of the Hollywood movie “A Beautiful Mind”!
Inclusions: Use of bicycle, Helmets, baskets, locks, and illustrated map
Exclusions: Gratuity
Manny was a great tour guide. Very informative and funny. It's a petty that not more tourists book this safe tour even during Covid. We have been the first group of 3 for this tour in months.

HORRIBLE!! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!!!! BEWARE! DO NOT BOOK! My daughters and I traveled to NY to take the 5 borough trip. We were told to meet outside of the Hyatt Hotel. The bus never showed and the tour company could not reach Amigo Tours!! Amigo Tours is not reputable, and,are scam artists. Any company that doesn't have a working contact number is ridiculous!! I am an attorney and will be taking legal action against this company!! Once we are refunded the money from the company we booked through, I will be filing a class action consumer suit against Amigo Tours!! You scammed the wrong Lawyer!!!!
