Reviewed By dorinsellaVery nice place with a lovely staff! The room is super clean and nice to stay in. Great communal area to sit and chill, with a bar and breakfast available. The only downfall is that it is pretty far from the beach (doesn't seem like that in the map but when you arrive you realise it is around 10 min walk on busy roads...) Otherwise, a very nice place to stay!

Really nice place in great location
Reviewed By DomrandMy Fiance and I stayed here for a total of three nights the room was clean and the shower was really good! They had bike rental here also! The only thing that’s stopping at getting five stars was the water dispenser was broken (the buttons) and it made it really hard to get hot water for coffee in the morning, and it was empty a few of the times.

Reviewed By DaveJJenkDirect access to the beach with superb snorkeling 100m down the beach. Lovely to sit out on the beach in the evening for dinner. Good variety of food and drink available. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy walk into town.

Great quiet spot within walking distance to the beach
Reviewed By expat_in_hongkongFirst things first, as others have said, this is not on the beach. You will need to pay $2 USD to get a pass to walk through another hotel to get to the beach. Do it, it is good for your whole trip and cuts the walk from 15 minutes... to 3 minutes. As for the rooms, they are cabanas with all the comforts of a hotel room, nice bed, air con, and hot shower. You do have to remember that you are in a tropical environment and so you may see ants and the occasional millipede on the floor. It didn't bother me in the slightest. The best thing about this place is that its quiet. VERY quiet. I might have heard a rooster or two, but nothing too close to be annoying. That is something you need to be aware of in the Philippines. Breakfast was fine. I never tried lunch or dinner as I was always on the beach for that. All in all, I loved the place and would definitely stay again.

Peaceful, but with geckos
Reviewed By GerabeeIt’s about an hour away from Caticlan port. This is a nice place if you want some peace and quiet - if you literally want to disconnect because you can’y get any signal here. Stay would have been very great, but since it’s so close to mother nature I saw geckos and hermit crabs in my hut. :) I remember having a few minutes just screaming because I saw a large gecko while in the toilet.

After a short talk I decided not to trust these people and after reading reviews it seems I was not mistaking. They left me with the choice of paying a one minute boat trip or just turn around. I decided to walk to the fish sanctuary and have a swim around it. Indeed you can walk almost all the way because the sea is not deep there. Suddenly I got a lot more attention, hahaha. The sanctuary is very small and the fish will come to you when you spread a little bread. I just stayed at the island side and did not go in the sanctuary. Saved me 250 pesos per person and most of all enourmous satisfaction to see them work for nothing checking me out. It is ridiculous to charge for a fish sanctuary, believe me you pay but it gets destroyed anyway when you go in the sanctuary. Be eco friendly... As you understand...do not leave your valuables with these people...you do have a choice.

Reviewed By egons2014We enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast was gorgeous (thanks Jesca:-) ). Rooms/cottage perfectly clean. With Aircon, Fan, and warm water shower. Located a bit off-road gives a feeling like being in the jungle. When you like dogs, which watch the Resort, this is the place to be even more. The best is to rent a scooter from resort owner Kim. This you need to get around anyway. From the seaside cottage you have straight view to the sea. No direct neighbors!! Perfect to relax. There is a walkway to the shore and beach. Staff is wonderful friendly and helps any time. We can fully recommend

Our lovely place located just less than 50 meters from the famous beach of Panagsama, where you can easily find the Sardines sanctuaries and above Ven'z Kitchen restaurant. We offer 1 STANDARD ROOM that suitable for 2 pax. 2 FAMILY ROOMS that suitable for 4 pax. 6 and 8 bunk bed dorms. All rooms includes private bathroom with hot-water shower, air-con and WIFI. Reviewed By SHIR_RATINSKYWe weren't even guests of the hotel, but we were having a tight situation and Lisa helped us out of it, first by letting us keep our bags there free of charge, and then by arranging a cheap taxi into Cebu city when no one else in town could help us. Her caring, loving attitude alone makes us regret not staying with her in the first place. Highly recommended!
