I've traveled many places around the world but El Nido Viewdeck Cottages is best bang for buck. Stayed on the 5th floor and the view was spectacular. Polite n helpful staff made it an even bigger bargain. My only regret is not staying longer!

The entire personnel was so friendly. We have a three-night stay at this property in the superior room. Funny during check-in, the girl asked how many people are we? I said, just the two of us, and she looks at me like what? Lol Their superior room was pricey and can accommodate three people. But I believe they have only two for this type of room. Thus reserve in advance is recommended. I book the room seven months before our trip. They have 24 hours of electricity, but the free wifi is very weak, only available in the restaurant. It is best to buy a local sim card if you want a stable internet. Our room is upstairs, with a balcony facing the ocean. It's precisely the same as in the photo. The wall painted in a jungle design but turned the room into darkness. Beautiful place a lot of space, it was worth the price. The housekeeping is available on request. And during the room cleaning, the beddings were also refreshed. The bathroom is less: I'm not too fond of the rock stone floor in the bathroom. They cleaned daily, but I can feel the sand still in there. The hot water is not to regulate (too hot). We turn off one of the buttons, and we only get cold water. The concrete stairs have a weird layout, too wide apart. My partner fell while going down.

All the reviews I had read before booking here were true. This place is not a hotel. It’s a no frills-type of accommodation. But you get what you pay for, and we are truly satisfied : ) The hotel is centrally located in El Nido town and very convenient for going to restaurants, cafes, and shops. The building does not look great from outside but room was big enough for a family of four (two adults and two kids). Our room was on the third floor family room facing the ocean. It had one of the best views in El Nido town area for sure. I just wish there was no coconut tree blocking part of our view! As far as I understand, there are only two rooms on the third floor and higher the floor the better to see the color of the ocean. if you can book the room on the third floor, book the one left side facing the big mountain for even a better view. (without the coconut tree!). The another great thing about this place is the ocean access. This place has the best beach access in El Nido town area. The water is clean and definitely fine to swim in. Remember to bring own toiletries since you only get small soaps. No toothbrushes, not even shampoo is provided. Free water (hot or cold), ice tubes, and coffee were available. No fridge, no working tv (entire pension), and no elevator. Bring a bug spray if you are loved by mosquitoes. Wifi was spotty but worked most of the time. The pension staff are not overly friendly here but that was expected since this isn’t a hotel. They were all busy working and our room was cleaned well daily. There are a lot of ants here. We have been living in the Philippines for four years and were not surprised. If you don’t like ants, do not eat anything in the room. If necessary, eat in the veranda and take the trash out immediately into the garbage bin outside/hallway. You rarely see anyone sitting behind the front desk. So, you really have to be independent or be relaxed when you need something. I appreciate all the previous reviewers. I got exactly what I expected and am very satisfied. Highly recommend to anyone who does not expect a hotel service but want to have an amazing view from your room for a very reasonable price.

We had a bad experience staying here, they over charges us upon check out. There's a miscalculation that my partner tried to resolve but the staff didn't pay attention at all, they wanted us to pay more... hinihingi ng partner ko yong charges na gusto nilang bayaran namin pero walang ipinakita total amount lang. ??♀️

I would like to first note (regarding the rest of the reviews I read) that this is a property located in THE PHILIPPINES and not a 5star luxury resort in Dubai.. The place is absolutely breathtaking. The view from the beach bungalow is amazing, although the beach itself is not ideal for swimming due to sharp rocks, but swimming there would be a waste anyway because El Nido has so many more beaches which are way better. The rooms are incredible..They offer the perfect combination of luxury, simplicity and originality..They are spacious with beautiful decoration and clean. The breakfast is delicious. The staff, especially Beve is by far the nicest, most helpful and polite and friendly person I have ever met. She is always smiling and she gets everything arranged for you (transportations, tours etc). She made our stay at Maligaya exceptional. Definately recommended for those who seek some luxury in this beautiful country.

First class accommodation set amongst lush greenery overlooking the sea and with beachfront. Rooms serviced daily with free coffee and tea. Waters sports on site, kayak and guides availabe. Dinghy sailing just a few metres away and island hopping adventures can be arranged. The spa overlooks the sea with massage, pedicure, manicure, and aloe vera treatments.
The staff try their best to make this a good hotel. The location is beautiful, very nice breakfast and they do clean the room. There are still construction going on around it, so it is noisy. They have a beach deck but no bar. They have a massage place, towards the beach, but the staff sleeps on those beds every night.

Traditional bamboo huts with a restaurant on a quiet beach in Sibaltan village. Family room with private shower room / others bungalows share 2 bucket showers. Sibaltan is 40 km from El Nido city. Take a jeepney (10 am everyday) or shared mini van (1 pm and 6 pm everyday) in El Nido terminal.
Just been to Eda Beach campsite for 3 days - whilst visiting el Nido we decided to take a scooter up to Sibaltan and go and check out “Randy the Man” as described in the lonely planet guide as such a cool place to visit The book promised us a unique rustic “glamping” experience with Randy on hand to take us out on the boat, feed us and experience Filipino life We had an incredible time and apart from another couple had the place to ourselves! If it’s luxury your after - this isn’t for you, but if you can challenge yourself to a bucket shower and enjoy the camping experience in a bamboo hut with stunning views and the best snorkelling we have had this far in the Philippines- can highly recommend Ed’s Campsite Ask Randy to take the boat out to “Randys Reef” it’s the best day with some cave swimming a bit of rock climbing and jumping off the ledge into the water. Also the trip to the mangroves in the evening to see the fire flies was also very special Racheal who is Randys wife is a great cook so no need to go off site if you want to just chill as all meals are provided upon request and are delicious and even their children entertain you with traditional dancing! Thank you Randy Racheal and family you will always be remembered in our memories

If you're looking for an excellent service, then this is the perfect place for you when you're in Puerto Princessa, Palawan. They helped us in every possible way they can. They even asked us if somebody from the group knows how to drive and offered one of their vehicles for our convenience.

Overall our stay at Just Inn was satisfactory, however some issues did crop up. When we arrived we were happy with the room, and we did extend our stay for 7days in total. We got to use the kitchen on the top floor, and were able to dry our clothes. Unfortunately, we need to make people aware of a couple of things. The most important being, currently the property is having building work done. This work is by the breakfast area, and the builders our very noisy. The last two days they had there music so loud we couldn’t talk to each other. It would be fair to say you would not be able to sit outside/inside your room during the hours of 8am till 5pm comfortably.
