Amazing views!

Harbour front cottages with amazing views and impeccably clean! We were in Room 4 which is a duplex but very private, quiet and with a private deck overlooking the harbour. Coffee pot, microwave, kettle, toaster and refrigerator is provided in the room. The family that owns/runs these cottages is great and they have a few food items for sale in the office. If you're arriving late it is a bit remote so try and bring something to eat. Parking is outside the cottage.

Family getaway

It had been a long 2 years of covid, after finally being able to freely travel again without restrictions, we found 1 and only cottages online and managed to book a weekend away. We had never traveled to this part of NS before, so we thought why not. The cottages are beautiful and very well appointed.. the hot tub was a must, as that was on our list when looking for places to stay..and it did not disappoint. So relaxing and the kids loved it as much as we did. The property was laid out very nicely and offered a little bit of everything for everyone. We will definitely be back again (the summer time or early fall would be lovely) highly recommend this place. The south shore did not disappoint.

PHENOMENAL LONGTERM STAY!

Reviewed By StephanieSD1

I spent 6 weeks in Cheticamp for work and had the pleasure of staying at this B&B. I was met on arrival by one of the staff who accommodated everything that I needed: gave me space in the garage to store a road bike and a paddle board as well as providing local knowledge of great activities to try (hiking, swimming, paddling, fishing etc). The room itself had an ocean view which provided stunning sunsets nightly. The dock across from the property was busy with local lobster and crab fishermen as my stay was during the fishing season - this was occasionally noisy but I couldn't hear anything over the heat pump/air conditioning so despite reading previous reviews of this location being "noisy", I found it quiet and lovely. The breakfast included a well appointed assortment of healthy and tasty food (everything from hard boiled eggs and oatmeal to banana chocolate chip muffins and local fresh bread). The location was ideal: walking distance to all town attractions, the grocery store, gym, etc. Most importantly, the staff were truly delightful! They made me feel extremely welcome and as if I was the only guest there. They were professional and courteous with a warm hospitality. I highly recommend this B&B and I will be staying there again!

We stayed at Sea'Scape for one night. The view is beautiful. The cottage was well maintained, clean and comfortable. There is a lot of privacy here, very peaceful . We really enjoyed walking from the cottage to the sandy beach, where there were many beautiful sea birds to photograph . We wanted to explore our own beautiful province and have a little getaway, while staying safe ,and were not disappointed. We even were fortunate enough to enjoy some fresh lobster at the tail end of the season, cooked by our hosts and delivered to the cottage.

Wonderful for groups

Six of us celebrated our sixtieth birthday at Anchorage House. What a perfect house for a group. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom with rooms to spare. We were all so impressed with how clean the entire house was. The kitchen was just fabulous with all kinds of space and a speedy dishwasher. Made use of the hot tub but didn’t get around to using the sauna or the pool. When it rained we Spent time on the veranda drinking wine and enjoying the spectacular view. We are a group of childhood friends and we could not have picked a better place to spend quality time together. And Kate was very easy to get hold of and warm and friendly to deal with.

Great pet friendly place!

Reviewed By Eloomom2010

I decided to celebrate the first day of school being retired and headed to the wonderful area of Argyle Sound. The location is extraordinary, is quiet, private and has amazing wildlife activity. The cottages are well appointed with everything one would need. The only problem I had was forgetting my cooler of food for my stay. It was the Labour Day weekend and much to my chagrin the two local restaurants were closed for the entire weekend and the following Tuesday. End of season they all needed a bit of a well deserved break. So I had to drive into Yarmouth for food. Perhaps a note on their site about limited eating in the area after the summer would be helpful. A path down tot eh water (boardwalk) would be a great addition. I look forward to going again (but maybe when more of the local things are open). I have recommended this place to all of my friends.
