Located just 175 feet from Wells Beach (a short 1 minute walk), we're situated on a quiet seaside street, but close to area restaurants and shops. You have all the convenience, but without the bustle. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Crescent Beach is immediately across the street and the property borders beautiful salt marshlands to the west. The grounds are quiet and safe for children. Lounge chairs and picnic tables are located all around our grassy lawns. There are nice views in all directions, and the air is cool and breezy. You can watch the birds and deer, sunsets over the marsh and sunrises over the ocean. At night you can hear the ocean. We have chairs for the beach, outside showers for rinsing off when you return from the beach, and coin operated laundry. Most days are breezy from the ocean, but we have fans in each room.
Amazing customer service! The owner lives on site and accommodated all our requests for everything from a cookie sheet to bandaids. Beautiful views of the estuary from the common areas. New appliances in the kitchen. Wi-Fi strong enough for three teenagers! Comfy couch. Exactly as described. Close to the beach and a short drive to the grocery store and great restaurants.

Pet Friendly efficiency cottages with private decks and gas BBQ grills. Charming studios, 1 and 2 bedroom cottages. Heat, AC, free WiFi, cable TV. 2 miles to Lincolnville Beach, 4 miles to downtown Camden.
We stayed in cottage 11, the most private cottage and the only pet-free. Parking is tight but we had no issues with our Corolla. A bit of traffic noise but not enough to keep us up. Away from the hustle and bustle of town but close enough. Lots to see and do in Camden, Rockland and Rockport.

My girlfriend and I recently visited Maine to go biking, kayaking (we rented), and to relax at the numerous beaches in the area. During our stay in Maine we spent all four nights at the Kennebunker Cottages and would have gladly extended our stay if we had been able. We stayed in number 17, a small cottage with a queen bed, a fold down table, a mini-fridge, and an attached bathroom with a stall shower, which was a bit tight for me but not unpleasant. There was no air conditioner in the room but there was a ceiling fan and small wall heater for those cold nights. The cottage was about as big as a medium sized bedroom (I didn't measure but it was about 15-20 ft squared) and the accommodations were simple. The only faults I could find with the cottage were the dead batteries in the remote (not a big deal though as we weren't there to watch TV) and a wobbly lamp that, although it was functional, was badly in need of replacement. It would have been nice if WiFi was more easily accessed but due to the location of the router (which I assume is in the main office) it is apparently easier to access the internet from the enclosed porch of the "kitchen building". The "kitchen building" is a large cottage with a simple but functional kitchen should you choose to prepare a home-cooked meal, a table both on the porch and inside, and a large ice machine which I visited twice a day to refill our cooler (we didn't feel like using our mini-fridge). We had planned to use the kitchen facilities to cook at least one meal during our stay, but there were just too many nice places to eat in the area. We had also planned to grill as we had heard there were grills we could use, which there were, but they were gas grills and we had brought charcoal. The cottages are about a mile down the road, the the west of the "main drag" and in close vicinity to a number of beaches. We had planned to go "beach hopping" during our stay so we checked out a number of beaches along the coast. However, once we found Footbridge beach in Ogunquit it quickly became our favorite and we went back several times. The owner of the cottages was extreemly accomodating, providing us with a free parking pass to allow us to park at a few of the local beaches and a cot to allow one of our friends, who happened to be in Maine at the time, to spend one night with us. On our final day he allowed us to leave our car parked in their lot after we had checked out so we could go biking (good/free parking seems to be tough to find in Kennebunkport and Ogunquit so this was a big help). If you are accustomed to the Marriott than the Kennebunker Cottages are not for you, but if you want something inexpensive like the Motel 6 but with far more charm and SO much more peace and quiet than the Kennebunker Cottages are the place to stay. The beds were warm and comfortable and although there was no air conditioner, the ceiling fan was more than enough to keep us cool. I slept like a rock. I would happily return. Recommended spots to visit: -Ogunquit and Footbridge beaches in nearby Ogunquit -Rococo Ice cream in Kennebunkport (Rococo has forever ruined all other ice cream for me)

Rose Eden is a special place that is nestled in the woods away from the downtown hustle but near Acadia Park and within 5 minutes of an ocean front beach. We maintain a family atmosphere with a small playground and picnic, barbeque and fire pit areas (barbeque grilles are available for your use). There is a Lobster take out business on site where you can buy beer, lobsters to cook yourself or a lobster dinner to eat at your cottage or in one of the picnic areas. Locally processed wines can be purchased next door to compliment the lobster dinners. Rose Eden is a perfect place for a group to gather for a family reunion or a family to relax after enjoying the many things to do and see in this special place on the coast of Maine.
Me and my Frenchie dog had such a great time staying at Rose Eden Cottages. The place is so cute and charming and so very dog friendly. Only 10 minutes drive into Bar Harbor and less than 10 to the entrance of Acadia National Park. The house is clean and the kitchen provides everything you need. There is a fire pit and picknick area where you can mingle with other guests in the evening and talk about your day or get good insider tips. Even though it is right next to a main street, the traffic did not bother at all. Reservation and email conversation with the owners Yvonne and David was super easy. I only met Yvonne and she was very welcoming. Bar Harbor Cellars is right next door making and pouring wine from wine growers all over the world. From there you can go right to dinner next door to Sweat Pea Cafe for some wood fired pizza along with many other farm to table entrees. Make sure to order a Lobster Dinner from Rose Eden Lobster that is on the premises. There is no other place I'd rather stay next time I come again to Acadia.

Comfy bedding. Quaint decor. Bathrooms are private. Cottages with kitchenettes are furnished with a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and tea/coffee kettle. Coffee is "pour over" style. Coffee filters, utensils, dishes, and glasses are provided. Cottages have picnic tables, Weber charcoal grill, individual heat, air conditioning, and internet service. Linens and towels provided. All cottages have access to the shore where you can launch your canoe, kayak or paddle board. We are an easy 5 minutes from the entrance to Acadia National Park and just 10 minutes to Bar Harbor. Sorry no pets. Sorry no smoking in cottages. FYI: no televisions but can stream with our high speed internet.
We were so pleased with our stay at this quiet little set of cottages! Quiet is the key. It was full when we stayed but rarely heard another guest. We also loved the beach view as it was a great way to wind down after a long day exploring in the park. Speaking of the park, the location was perfect for us, super close to the park and Bar Harbor, but not in the middle of the tourist madness either! The cottage itself is well described by the owners. Ours was only enough room for two, as described, but had all you need including a small refrigerator. For those of you looking to cook yourself, each cottage has a Weber grill which was a nice touch. But if eating out, take the owners suggestions! All were on point! Great choice for Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park!

The Oakland House is a resort colony of vintage cottages, a guest house and 132-year old inn on 60 acres on Eggemoggin Reach, overlooking picturesque Pumpkin Island to the right and the iconic Deer Isle Bridge to the left. We offer a restorative haven for guests in search of breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, hikes to gorgeous overlooks, cozy nights by the fireplace and silence disturbed only by the call of loons in the night-time. We’re also ideal for restless nature-lovers who come to paddle, hike, bike, fish, sail and explore Acadia National Park. Please check out website for availability in our cottages, guest house, and historic inn.
Absolutely great location. Quiet and so peaceful. We stayed in the Acadia room which was on the third floor. This could be an issue with some. The room was basic but very comfortable. The deck was wonderful. You can’t beat a glass of wine while sitting on a rocker watching the sunset, also beautiful views . Highly recommend. Also, great staff.

My friend and I loved Emery's and stayed there several times. Not being a couple, we chose a cottage with two beds. Since our last stay, the cottage was updated with one bed, but I was never informed of the change. We found out only after driving eleven hours and trying to check in. The new management is nothing at all like the wonderful couple who used to own Emery's, Carol and Wally Grey. The new people had an uncaring, sarcastic attitude. They basically told us they'd bring in a cot and that was that. One of the staff told me I was rude to complain. I did not raise my voice to either of them or use coarse language, but evidently he felt that an unhappy customer should keep their mouth shut. I am very sad and doubt I would stay here again.

A bit of luxury in the wilderness to enjoy Spring, Summer and Fall. Hunter Cove Cabins is a complex of seven individual cabins, set on a six-acre property, on the shores of Rangeley Lake. Summers warmth brings concerts, Art & Craft exhibitions, a logging festival, cookouts, water sports, and scenic golf at Mingo Springs Golf Course. Loons wail and Moose entertain. Brilliant foliage in September and October bring game-bird season. Spring offers some of the best fishing for trout and land locked salmon.
We can't say enough good things about Chris and Ralph and Hunter Cove Cottages. We felt like family and were welcomed so graciously! The cabins are quintessential Maine - rugged, very clean, on the water with everything one could want. The peace and beauty of this place as well as the wonderful people were the gifts of this time. Thank you so very much Chris and Ralph, we will be back!

What a great spot! Cottages fully equipped to accommodate our guests, full kitchens, gas grills, deck furniture, beach with canoes and rowboats to paddle around the cove in! Great spot to make memories with your family! Call us and book today!
Gail and Carroll were amazing and hooked us up with Cottage 4. It was the only one available on a holiday weekend so we took it. The first striking thing on this property is how tidy and organized everything is kept. You can tell they really care about each cabin like its their own home. The view from our table and deck was so good, we decided to go to the supermarket and get food to cook. We saved a ton of money eating breakfast in the cabin and grilling dinner on the deck most days. They also have kayaks and canoes on site, but we regret not making time for it. The rate was really affordable and cheaper than a NYC hotel! They have all kinds of brochures in their office if you are lost on what to do. We will definitely be back Gail and Carroll!!!
