We have booked the guesthouse biser online and the host waited outside our arrival. A very friendly person. The guesthose is about 300m above the old town. Our bright and clean room was in the first floor. The host offered us a coffee as welcome. In the room is a fridge and a pot for making hot water incl coffee powder. We could park our motorbike in the host‘s home nearby, in an enclosed court. Opposite the guesthouse are two free parkings beside the road. We slept wonderful and would fully recommend this place.

Google did warn me that using Google maps in Bonsia was a hit or miss, and we missed this one by a few dozen feet, repeatedly. In retrospect, walking around and looking for this place, loaded down with bags, seems pretty hilarious, although it wasn't at the time. Only after we were settled in our apartment did I think to check my email. And there, black on white, was a message from the managers, aiming to prevent exactly what we went through. The email asked us to please let them know approximately what time we're arriving, so someone could be there to meet us, and offering no less than four phone numbers, in case we had any issues. So my only bad experience associated with this stay was one of my own making. We rented the studio apartment for the night, which was frankly enormous, offering more space than we thought possible in such a close proximity to the Old Bridge. The apartment included two beds, a queen and a twin, a pull out couch, and a small kitchenette equipped with everything from pans to cups, to a fridge and an oven. The bathroom was also large, spotless, and offered plenty of storage space. The owners were friendly, readily offering directions to places of interest in and around Mostar. In one of the other reviews, someone mentioned that they had a difficult time communicating in English. As someone who speaks Serbo-Croatian, but prefers English, I did not find this to be the case, as I easily communicated in English with two separate staff members. We stayed there during the Red Bull diving competition weekend, and Mostar was literally bursting at the seams. Five minutes walk to the Old Bridge, we expected to be kept up all night by the numerous parties which had spilled into the street. Instead, we heard absolutely nothing and slept like babies. This truly felt less like a hotel stay and more like staying at a friend's house. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in Mostar for a few days.
