Alaska is divided into five regions: far north, interior, southwest, south central, and inside passage. Although it takes a long time to see the entire state, you can travel through the regions by boat, car, bus, or plane. Hike through the mountains, or venture out on a deep sea fishing or whale watching excursion. Get in touch with nature by camping in the wilderness, or experience your preferred degree of class and luxury in the beautiful, active cities of Anchorage and Fairbanks.

After a long day of sightseeing it was such a treat to pull in here and see not only the lovely setting but to then enjoy the splendid accommodations and enjoy the peace and quiet. The master bathroom has a splendid whirlpool tub to help work out all the days accumulated kinks. They leave a nice selection for breakfast and we were very, very pleased with everything!

Quality log cottages located on the scenic Glenn Highway between the cities of Palmer and Glennallen- just 2 hours from Anchorage. Matanuska Glacier and mountain views from every cottage. Observe Dall Sheep on the mountain range to the north of our yard. Gas Fireplaces, kitchenettes, private baths, cable TV, private decks and patios. Internet can be unstable due to the rural location. Complimentary morning coffee & tea in your cottage. Perfect setting to unwind or have a romantic get a way! Guests repeatedly state they wish they had booked more than one night. Come see why! If you enjoy quiet spaces and nature, you will enjoy Tundra Rose Guest Cottages. Grand View Cafe is 1/8 mile away and easily walked to for meals.
We loved our stay in the Tundra Rose Cottage, but wished it could have been longer than one night. The view from the deck is amazing. The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. The gas fireplace quickly warmed us up in the morning. The checkin process was well communicated, and easy.

We are open and doing our very best to keep our guests safe. We are cleaning and sanitizing everything after each guest visit. Millane's Serenity by the Sea Cabins offer rustic, private cabins on Lowell Point, just two miles from Seward, Alaska. Our cabins provide the perfect retreat while remaining convenient to Seward. Lowell Point is accessible by private vehicle, taxi, bicycle or on foot. We are just one block away from Resurrection Bay's world-class kayaking, whale watching, hiking and fishing.
This small log cabin was quiet, in the middle of the woods, and a short walk down to the ocean in the morning for coffee. Millane was responsive and had clear instructions. Although this was exactly what we were looking for, read below if it will work for you: ATMOSPHERE: You drive into "serenity by the Sea" and see about 5 little cabins in a circle under a forest of tall pine trees. During our stay, we were blessed with quiet neighbors and I was able to hang my hammock up for the whole stay. Each night and morning we took the short walk down to the ocean where we could skip rocks or sit at a picnic table and enjoy the views. There is a fire pit and picnic table available for group use. LOCATION: This cabin is located on Lowell Point which is a little over 2 miles from Seward. It's a very short drive on a dirt road by the ocean into town, but I would not recommend walking it. It worked great for us to drive into town for tours or dinner each night! If you want a place with lots of restaurants within walking distance, this is not the cabin for you. If you want a peaceful location in nature, absolutely. NEAR BY: - COFEE & BREAKFAST (Barrio Coffee & Kitchen): If you walk up to Miller's Landing and go around to the picnic tables by the ocean, on the far end there is a little shed. There is one worker inside that does the coffee and makes the food. Although you may have to wait pending how busy it is, beautiful to sit by the ocean and have a warm coffee. - RESTAURANTS (Hungry Halibut Restaurant): Although we didn't check it out, there was always people eating there outside at the picnic tables. No indoor dining. - TOURS (Miller's Landing Water Taxi, Kayaking, or Fishing): The Water Taxi to Caine's head, one of the Kayak/fishing charter companies leaves right from this location. Although they are not always timely, if you book with them it's nice to walk right over in the morning. - CAMPGROUND (Lowell Point Campground): This would be a great option if someone you are traveling with is on a budget, they could stay here while you stay in the cabin. They are a 5 minute walk. They also have additional restrooms and showers open 24/7. SIZE: I would highly recommend booking more than one cabin if you have more than 2 adults in your group or you have kids that would be unable to climb a ladder into a loft. If you have more than 2 adults, you will be changing in the one bathroom as there is not standing room in the loft. The kitchen has a nice fold out table, but will need to be folded in during the day for movement. There is also Miller's Landing Campground within 4 minute walking distance if you have friends on a budget or need to use the additional bathroom/shower facilities there. KITCHEN: Tons of plates, bowels, silverware, sharp knives, a small griddle we used for scrambled eggs/hot sandwiches, a coffee maker, microwave, and fold-up table with 2 functioning fold-up chairs and 2 bar stools. OTHER: - WiFi and cell phone service are SLOW and unable to use. Either have a 5G phone or walk to Miller's Landing for better service. - Movies are available in the cabin to watch - Cabin offers trash and recycling in cabin and on-site

We stayed at the Wrangell Extended Stay for several nights while vacationing in Alaska. The room was not lacking anything. We had a kitchenette that was stocked with everything we might need. The bedding was so soft and comfortable. There js also a laundry room available. Lydia went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. She even picked us up from the airport. I loved that they had a store with their handmade goods and the small town atmosphere that I love so much. We had a change of plans and needed to extend our stay a little longer and Lydia went out of her way to accommodate us. So thankful for such a big heart. If we are ever in Wrangell again, we would absolutely choose to stay here again and recommend Lydia and Mike’s accommodations 100%.

I found The Suites by accident. I was traveling with my teen students and our plane had mechanical issues. We were stranded and these incredible people put us all up for the night. The facilities are beautiful and well equipped. However, they are nothing compared to the amazing hospitality my students and I received. They picked us up at the airport, provided all of us dinner and went far above and beyond what was expected to make us feel comfortable and cared for in our emergency. I cannot even begin to explain our gratitude for their warmth and hospitality. I highly recommend The Suites and am now considering a weekend getaway here that IS planned.

Truly a home away from home. Six individual, smoke-free, luxury cottages with screened-in porch, exposed beams, tastefully decorated, including all the modern conveniences; yet, tucked away in a little cul-de-sac for peace and quiet. All six cottages have one bedroom on the second level and two cottages also have a second bedroom on the first floor. Each unit contains a full kitchen, in-floor heating, wood & slate floors, washer and dryer (coin-operated), fireplace, a full bathroom on the first floor with jetted tub with 2 showerheads, half-bath on the second floor with the bedroom, down duvets, king-size beds, a futon and cable TV.
We were so lucky to find this location. We traveled to Alaska with kids and while pregnant and our cabin had absolutely everything. The owners made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable and even had home made goodies for us! The cabin had a great outdoor patio screened against mosquitoes, there was a huge jacuzzi tub and a washer and dryer. Everything we needed and more and so convenient to everything. Hatcher Pass just up the road, Anchorage just 45 minutes away, the train and eating and shopping within 15 minutes. Yet the cabins are secluded and private surrounded by trees and we even saw moose!

Single room: these rooms are assigned to one person or a couple it may have one or more beds Double room: double rooms are assigned to two people expect two double beds and are meant to accommodate two to four people especially families traveling with young kids , Each unit has a shower and bathroom ,kitchens facilities in every unit, wireless internet access
I stayed in Delta Cottages for two nights due to a business trip. I had heard from other contractors and state workers that it was a good place to stay. It was my first time in Bethel and it's a bit more rugged than I'm used to, however the rooms were clean, the shower was hot and the heat worked. People can't go into it expecting a chain hotel up there, but as long as the rooms are clean and there's hot water, that's all that matters! The owners were super friendly too.

Located on Chilkat Lake, between Glacier Bay National Park and the world famous Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve, this lodge is an excellent location for fishing, wildlife watching, golf and other outdoor sports.
uh, how about teeing off to a hole 90 yards away from a roiling, rolling dock in the middle of a lake? that's the end of the line at the unique Weeping Trout Golf Resort with it double greens and right-angle doglegs... To get there, you need set up an appointment for them to pick you up in a boat, which then takes you to the "resort," a woodsy retreat several knots away... The "Trout" provides clubs, balls (you may need a few) and lunch before sending you back... it's par 28, most of the holes in the 100-yard range, and unforgettable, particulary the sensation of looking backward over your shoulder from the tee-dock, to make sure there's no boat approaching that'll accelerate the rocking... an incredible experience

Carriage House Accommodations is a small boutique property offering craftsman style B&B guest rooms and private cottages crafted in rustic elegance for the discerning traveler in mind. Quietly set on 2 acres along California Creek on the edge of the Chugach state and national forest, yet just on the edge of town directly across from Alaska's amazing Double Musky Restaurant and 1 mile from Alyeska Ski Resort on the free shuttle route. Open Year round
We loved our “Coach” room. The room was very clean, had a comfortable bed, well placed TV with Roku. The shared kitchen area was stocked with oatmeal, OJ, fruit, boiled eggs and coffee. The hot tub was available till 11pm and the location across from the Double Musky Inn made this place even more perfect. It was cozy, cute and just an all around REALLY GREAT AND AFFORDABLE PLACE!
