Love is in the air! Welcome to the “City of Brotherly Love,” or more commonly known as Philadelphia. Receiving its nickname from the literal meaning in Greek. Keeping the history alive with a modern touch, The Witherspoon was built in 1895 but has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. You’ll be swept off your feet as you step into the lobby, complete with high ceilings and a fireplace. Surrounded by beautiful architecture, this building is at the center of all the action and the perfect place to kick your feet up and relax. Ready to explore? Hop on the subway at a nearby station to visit historic attractions such as the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the Museum of Art. You’re also right down the street from the stunning, and hard to miss, Philadelphia City Hall. Refuel by grabbing a classic Philly cheesesteak from Sam’s, and wash it down with an ice-cold beer from the Independence Beer Garden. Whether it’s history, food, or memorable experiences, enjoy Philly at The Witherspoon.
I purposely booked it near downtown where all of the attractions are. The bars are there and it’s noisy outside but once you go inside and go to sleep it’s fine! I loved it. Clean and they even had a washer and dryer with tide pods. I would definitely stay again.

Luxury hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh.
Fantastic location in downtown Pittsburgh but many expectations not met, such as cleanliness and hotel welcome experience and amenities review. Penthouse suite had dirty laundry in washing machines, shower know broken, floors sticky throughout, and barstools were damaged.

I came to Philadelphia for a solo creative retreat. I was looking for a place I loved to much, I just wanted to stay inside all day and write. This was just that. Everything about this place was perfect. The kitchen had all the cookware I needed, and more spices than I knew what to do with. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the couch cozy, and the view was divine. All I wanted to do all day was sit at the desk in the most beautiful natural light and create, and I did just that. I was beyond comfortable during my stay, and I cannot wait for my next SoSuite experience. I’ll never look elsewhere what staying in Philadelphia.

Booked for 7 days- drove 20 hours- checked in exhausted at the 4016 Christian Spring Rd location. It was disgustingly dirty (see photos- grime, scum, and you can guess what else!). Unruly, unpleasant tenants were up all night wreaking havoc and making noise. Fire alarm went off and the hotel had to be evacuated in the middle of the night. Checked out early and was denied full refund. Don't book this location. Photo descripts: Dried gunk on bed frame, yellow soiled bed comforter, hairs in the sheets, sticky floors, foul smelling splatter all over fridge and in sink, poorly covered graffiti on walls.

Showed up at 235pm for a 3pm checkin. Bothered the front desk clerk, who was on her cellphone. She said they need extra time to clean, so we hung out for 25 minutes. Walked into a sticky floor, so I got a wash cloth and cleaned it. Opened the grease covered fridge to put some water bottles in and there was about an inch of water in the bottom 2 drawers. Looked at the dirtiest chair I've ever seen, rust in the toilet and a disgusting drawer in the nightstand. Glad we had no kids there, safety bar on window was not attached. Hope you're not looking for a dark room, even curtains had holes in them.

This location has to be one of the most disappointing I've stayed in. Staff was courteous, but in the 3 weeks I stayed, the room was never cleaned, poor internet (even though I paid for the premium), horrible bed and VERY rude and disrespectful neighbors!

The apartment was great. The apartment is large. The layout is good. It is located in the back of the building away from the street so it is very quiet. More than enough closet and storage area. The kitchen is updated, large and fully equipped. Bathroom is nicely updated. Location is great. Right near Rittenhouse Square or Kimmel Center. The doormen staff was great as well. The quirky decor of the apartment gets in the way of guest comfort. I probably moved 6-8 items off the dining table so I could use it. The king-sized bed is very comfortable but is so high you really need a stool to get onto it. The abundance of unusual towels just hanging about in the bathroom is unsightly and unsanitary. Standard washcloths, face and bath towels folded neatly would be an improvement. Small decorative rugs are a tripping hazard. Also, watch for extra charges for cleaning etc.. Final price is much higher than I expected.
