Staff need more training
Reviewed By Thanawan TWe were stay in the hotel for one night since we saw many review on location and room. First, when we entrance to the hotel the location very stunning and outstanding. Room was very nice big, comfortable bed and clean. However, staff is one of big thing that make our stay unpleasant. Briefly, in the morning before we check out we are planning to have a outdoor sit for breakfast since the weather is nice and cozy. Once we enter restaurant and we found table outdoor but, the table didn’t clear yet we have asked one of the staff to clear the table for us. What he reply to us is “ตอนนี้พนักงานไม่เพียงพอที่จะเคลียร์นะครับ ไปนั่งด้านในได้มั๊ย เพราะเราไม่มี ชุดอุปกรณ์ที่ set up” He speak with unfriendly tone of voice seems like we disturb him or what! When after we decided to sit somewhere else. Lady trainee was clearing that table with full set up. I come back to ask her can I sit this table she said yes. Trainee is full of service mind. I understand breakfast is quite busy during rush hour and long holiday however, the reason of short of manning is unacceptable especially in Five star hotel. Please consider to provide them more training and service foundation skill Regards,

Reviewed By mallymoon9Beautiful place as you stay in Japan. Nice support staffs and they provide Ukata suit for guest to wear as Ryokan style. Nice room with full facilities. Nice garden to take a picture. But not enough seat for Breakfast (8.00-10.00).

Bad service
Reviewed By Michel KThe only star they get from us is for the view and how it looks from outside... but the service is not really good. There is nobody that speaks english to inform you about the area. They don't offer tours. There is not a lot of food. The bed was dirty and still hairs on the pillow. I asked if one of the staff could bring us to our next place because there is not a lot of public transport but they didn't want to do that.. they said you can walk to mainroad and take a minivan. We contacted our next stay Te Mata and they said to pick us up in an hour.. so luckely they offerd us a good service. I am very dissapointed because i had good hopes coming here because there where a lot of issues in Bangkok with paying this acommodation but the owner said.. just come and don't worry. But when we arrived there is no english speaking staff to help. The place needs to be clean for the price you have to pay.. this was worth 500 bath at the most..

Reviewed By ChuJoeWe were very fortunate recently to have been able to stay at HUG Station on a weekday because this resort is usually only open on weekends! Even before we checked in, Khun Som was already very helpful with information about the climate and tips for places to visit. She proved to be a most consummate host who made us feel welcomed, comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. Breakfast was lovely and Khun Som's famed ice cream will give Dairy Home's ice cream a run for their money! We already miss Lamer, her sweet and friendly pet dog. There are only 4 rooms here so please make sure that you book in advance and, even though we don't usually eat dinner, we will make sure to try Khun Som's food the next time we visit. Highly recommended!

Reviewed By Walter SNice hotel, right behind Chocolate Factory. Good environment with nice scenery with lots of photo shoot areas. Good for family with kids where the kids can move around the vicinity. No breakfast provided but can get breakfast at Chocolate Factory or nearby local eateries. Bicycles provided to move around too!

Great Stay!
Reviewed By TanPrisWe stayed in the 4 bedroom villa during our recent family trip to Khaoyai from 16-18 March. The villa is spacious enough to accommodate 11 of us. Clean rooms, quiet surroundings, most importantly the location of the resort is so convenient, 5 mins drive to Palio, chocolate factory. We had BBQ just outside our villa, the staff were there to serve us too. The Resort Manager Goy whom I communicate with throughout my whole booking was a patient nice lady, our needs and queries were reply promptly. The only thing is tap water in the bathroom were slow so if you are used to bathing under heavy running water it might irritates you : [ The breakfast were quite simple and limited choices. But overall I highly recommend this resort if you intend to plan a trip to khaoyai.

Not Worth It
Reviewed By honoiuiuI think this place is to pricey comparing to the quality. Some air con, doors or water hose in toilet didn’t work. The draining system in one (at least) bathroom need to be fixed. No True Vision as there should be. The pool seems just to be there.

Disappointing!
Reviewed By buenosairesrWe have been to Khao Yai before at other resorts. This time we tried Romantic Residence. We would not recommend this place compared to other resorts in the same price range. The staff hardly speaks English, hotel room/appartment not designed with the user in mind (no reading lamps and bedside tables, air con in the middle of room and ice cool air on your head when lying in the bed). Besides, the style is not romantic at all and the pool is situated in the Romantic Hotel Resort which reminds of a shopping mall where nobody wants to lie quietly by the pool. The views from the room/appartment to the mountains was nice!
