New York State has it all – booming metropolises, majestic waterfalls, mountains, wine country, chicken wings. Yes, NYC is a magnet for tourists, but an exploration of the rest of the state can be equally thrilling. The Finger Lakes Wine Region is a vision of serene waters, quaint B&Bs, and pretty vineyards. Movie buffs will love Rochester, home of the George Eastman House and one of the world’s most comprehensive film archives. On your way to Niagara Falls, stop in Buffalo to fuel up on spicy wings.

I stayed here with four girlfriends and would definitely recommend it. We had a 3 bedroom suite that gave us lots of room. A full kitchen and sitting area made it very comfortable. The suite was clean and stocked with plenty of fresh towels and toiletries. The Fairway suites is in a beautiful location. The grounds are very picturesque. The pool area was beautiful and the patio was very comfortable too . The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We took the short walk from the Fairway suites to peek n peak for dinner both nights that we stayed there. It is not long but it is through an overgrown golf course with no directions, but we met another walker who pointed us in the right direction. Maybe a dedicated trail with some lighting might be an idea? All in all it was a great girls getaway and I would recommend the Fairway suites to all my friends who were looking to stay in this area

Windward Shores Ocean Resort is a year-round exclusive luxury resort located on the pristine ocean beaches of Napeague in Amagansett. Windward Shores offers luxurious studios and two bedroom duplex suites offering fully equipped kitchens, living and dining areas and private decks for sunbathing or entertaining.
Our unit was your average condo rental. Very nice location on the beach with a path from the condos to the ocean. Decor of grey and white, nothing fancy but certainly adequate. The bathroom was a good size with a nice size shower, plenty of hot water and plenty of towels. The overall clealiness was good, but you could see a little sand on floor of bathroom near radiator and a few little webs in some corners. Not unexpected since the location is on the beach. The ceiling in our unit bathroom needs a little maintenance. The kitchen was well appointed and very clean. The bed was clean and fairly comfortable, except for the bump down the middle to make the "king" bed feature. I'd rather have a queen without a bump than a king with that bump.

The location is excellent, but this property is in desperate need of renovations! Peeling wallpaper, inadequate lighting and funky smells. Don’t count on using the fold out bed - it was sagging and no linens were provided anyway. Staff was very friendly.

I stayed at the Vanderbilt in Westbury, New York for a business/vacation trip and it was the perfect home away from home. My room was exquisite! The bed was so comfortable I was able to sink into a restful slumber as soon as my head hit the pillow. I had a king bedroom suite with a sofa and an outside seating area that was adjacent to the beautiful pool. The ceiling are tall and grand with lightning and a decorative hanging lamp to add to the tasteful room decor. Besides the couch there’s a dining table and additional seating where everything is strategically situated so you can see the large screen TV at any angle in the room. There’s a library, a beautiful gym and an adult game room. During my stay, I had almost all the amenities of home without the task of being at home and taking care of home. My room was cleaned daily and restocked with bottled water, coffee and tea. All of the suites have a sink, dishes, a microwave oven, a nice size refrigerator and a fully stocked double vanity bathrooms. I would be doing an injustices if I didn’t mention the staff at the Vanderbilt; everyone I encountered was absolutely amazing! During my five night stay I got to know Cee-Cee, Cherry-Ann, and Forbes, they were absolutely wonderful! Very professional and accommodating, not just to me but to the residents, guest and even the delivery and service people that came to the front desk. Another person that deserves an honorable mention is Heidi, she is one on the house keepers that works extremely hard sanitizing and caring for the suites (I watched Heidi on her hands and knees cleaning and disinfecting the tables and chairs in the suites), it’s great to know that she goes above and beyond for the comfort of the guest. Just know that the Vanderbilt is a beautiful residential building with only 18 guest suites, and the residents take pride in their building. The guest suites are so comfortable you’ll want to make this your home away from home.

Free grab-and-go breakfast: Jumpstart your day with a free grab-and-go breakfast that includes a variety of breakfast bars and muffins, hot cereal, coffee, and tea.
Booked a room while in town for a concert. Found the room dirty and worn. Ended up not using the room and drove home after the show instead. On a good note, there was some change left on the floor so I was able to get some of my money back lol. I wouldn’t try this place again. My advice is to spend a little more money on a better place.

I am never a true believer in spending so much on hotels where I just have to spend a night. Except it should be clean and hygienic and I got that. Though I spent over $110 but I guess its because of Niagara falls otherwise it is not worth more than 50-60 bucks. Surprise to see the hotel was running by chines couple. Otherwise, it was always some Indian couple across the USA [ Okay I generalized that and I am an Indian too ;) but that’s a fact too ]. The owner was kind and he allowed us for an extra guest. We asked for an iron and a couple of things and he happily obliged that. Room was clean, we checked bedsheet, under the bed ( normal precautionary step :P ) and it was all okay. It's the countryside so I heard the rooster crowing after ages in the morning. Oh, it felt so good. Campus and around was very peaceful. Niagara Falls is 11 miles from here so it was a good bet for us. Check in & out was easy. It's not fancy but it's good.

I never rate hotels, but I had to do it this time. We needed a hotel near the airport, but we couldn’t sleep because of noise. The room was dirty and we didn’t feel comfortable there at all. I will never use this hotel again

My family and I spent 2 nights here. The accommodations were basic and it had a kitchen in the room which was a plus f us. The pool was out of order due the heating needing repairs. The bathroom sink did not have hot water but the tub and shower worked fine. We would stay here again if needed

It’s not much more than a flop house. Absolutely shocking! Stayed one night only if the 9 nights and couldn’t escape fast enough. It was noisy, it was depressing and my fault really for not checking the ratings before I pressed the book button!! Might be ok for 18yo backpackers
