We spent one night here, stop from Lisbon to Porto. The location is near the beach. Staff was super friendly and very attentive and responsive. Super clean all around. The beds were comfy and the room was spacious enough. We also had a balcony which was perfect with a glass of port.

The Tourist Apartments of Nazaré offer all the conditions to offer you a pleasant holiday in a warm and family atmosphere. It has T1 (2 persons) / T2 (4 people) / T3 (6 people)
We were 5 people in an apartment of 6, we had 3 double beds. Everything was extremely clean! You get there a washing machine for clothes that we really needed. Towels parking everything is provided. Only thing was we didn’t have any soap to wash the dishes or soap for the clothes. Thank you for Raymond at the reception, he was very halpful and welcoming! Defiantly recommend!

The Apartments Quico are located at the centre of Nazaré - considered by many as one of the most typical villages in Portugal - about 300 meters away from the beach. All units have one double bed bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, which is fully equipped (cooker, fridge, house wares). Also, most of the apartments have a living room with sofa (which includes a folding-bed) and satellite TV.
Typical Portuguese building, can hear all in the corridors, in the room above, and outside our ground floor room in the lobby, but a quiet area even on the weekend. The two bedroom apartment does have double doors and wooden shutters over the windows. It also includes a wash machine and rack for drying (or outside window clothesline). Kitchen has microwave, stove and oven, refrigerator, toaster, and coffee maker (no kettle). The owners were always friendly when we saw them, but the room was not serviced during our three night stay, although they did replace a lightbulb we asked about. Less then a 10 minute walk to beach, restaurants, or funicular - it didn't seem that hard or hilly. A good advantage being up and away from the main beach was not getting restaurant or nightlife noise. Pingo Doce supermercado is less than a ten minute walk further uphill. OK value compared to some of the more expensive beachfront units, although we were disappointed with no cleaning and the wonky toilet seat that falls down every time you sit on it.

Located in the historic center of Batalha, in one of the most emblematic village places (Mouzinho de Albuquerque Square) and only 30 meters from the Monestery of Santa Maria da Victoria. It has 4 comfortable and well decorated apartments, 2 with amazing monestary views and 2 with village views. The apartments are equipped with cable tv, internet, wifi, kitchenette and private bathroom.
Excellent location. Excellent view, really in front of the monastery. Staff friendly. Very clean and confort. There is no private garage, but there are many public options around. Many restaurants in nearby. I strongly recommend.

We stayed in Stone. Easy to get into the property with the code and no keys to manage. The apartment is extremely clean, beautifully and simply decorated, and the spa tub was amazing. Really appreciated the bathrobes, good bedding, and that it’s a true double bed - no gap in the middle. Location is perfect to explore, and close enough to the taxi-drop-off that hauling our luggage over cobbles didn’t kill us. Washer works great, no detergent provided but we left a box of capsules so maybe it’s still there :) (TL;DR) Dealing with the host was…weird. When I first saw this place, I wondered why it didn’t have a higher rating. It’s the host. They’re aggressive and rude about paying the tourist tax, threatening to lock us out. - We booked, and received a message to pay the 4E tourist tax by bank transfer. I’m American, and US banks charge $15-25 to do a foreign transfer. My husband’s bank in Dubai takes 48 hours minimum to set up a new payee. I messaged the host with that information and asked if they wanted PayPal or cash. - The host sent another request for bank transfer, stressing that we wouldn’t get the code to get in without sending a receipt. It was…aggressive. - I repeated that I couldn’t do that, and did they want cash or PayPal? They agreed we could leave cash, and “the cleaning lady will pick it up.” - We left cash on the table with a note and went to breakfast. At the end of breakfast, we got an angry, aggressive email saying the cleaning lady came by and we weren’t there to pay and they would be disabling our code to get in if we didn’t send a bank transfer by noon (it was 10:45AM). - I sent a picture of the cash & note on the table. They said, oh, the cleaning lady doesn’t come in to a rented apartment. Which, fine, but maybe say “you have to leave it outside” or “you have to be there to pay her”? At this point, I’m thinking, really dude? You want to threaten me out of a $100+/night property over 4 euros? Which I have said from the beginning I’m happy to pay? The whole experience left a bad taste. Which is a shame because the apartment is otherwise wonderful! Also, if you got this far, the apartment above this one needs a rug on the floor - when other guests were walking around, it was noisy enough that I had to go up at 12:30AM and ask them to please walk more quietly.
