In Tenjin area and about 15 minute walk to canal city hakata. Rooms are spacious and have kitchenette at least on level 5. Large bath and separate WC. There was complementary coffee from dispensed in lobby in the mornings as well. The lobby is small and the frontage may be hard to spot as the hotel is off the main road. Apart from Tenjin subway station, the bus stops are within 100m.

From the Airport, I got to Randor Residential Hotel by taxi, this can easily be reached by metro as well. I came before check in time, but the staff was great and let me store my luggage. For lunch they recommended a ramen place around the corner that should not be missed, I believe it was called Ramen Unari. There is a local market across the street, and several attractions/cafe's/restaurants, etc. nearby. The hotel was everything I hoped for. The room seemed to be traditional style, and I loved the bathroom. I am from the States, so the bathroom was much better then what I am used to. The room also had a nice kitchen and large room with a comfortable bed. I was here three nights and enjoyed everything about my stay. Randor Residential is highly recommended.

Home in Japan Situated right in the heart of downtown Tenjin.our home feels holiday apartment stands proudly with its 3 levels and 7 rooms, each with unique design. Ranged from room for 3 to 8.
Brilliant location in the middle of a busy restaurant district with easy access to buses and the subway. We rented a 3-bedroom apartment for four days while our apartment in Fukuoka was being renovated. The apartment is beautifully clean with a lovely bathroom and separate toilet. There were two separate double bedrooms with an extra tatami room that can accommodate a futon bed id necessary. The owner was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble.Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights, 1 of 6 hotels I booked for our group of 12 of 2 weeks in Taiwan and Japan. I usually book travels for my family but I am no travel agent. I initially booked 3 apartments through booking.com, 1 for 5 adults, 1 for 3 adults and 1 for 2 adults and 2 babies. I canceled the last room since my niece booked her own. On the first morning of our stay, the receptionist stopped me and said we booked room for 2 but there are 3 adults in the room (they had asked for extra towels, which they will nickel and dime you for). I was confused and said I needed to check my booking. Since I'm there with 11 other family members on vacation, it's easy to forget to look into that. Usually, you settle finances at checkout. Every time I entered the lobby, they stopped me to collect money for the 3rd adult. It was an honest mistake that I canceled the room for 3 and kept the room for 2adults/2 babies. I got emails from the property and through booking.com multiple times daily during our short 3 day stay. The worst part was that I paid in cash the morning day before leaving and I get an email requesting bank/CC statement to show proof that I had paid. I paid in CASH so had to send them photo of the receipt. That night at 10:00, someone knocks on one of our rooms speaking very little English so difficult to understand. Basically, they wanted to know if I sent proof of payment to booking.com! I've never felt so harassed by a hotel in my life and I've traveled a lot! As for the property itself, location is great. Convenient on the river and close to Canal Plaza. The rooms are very basic but tight, as to be expected in Japan. There is a clothes washer inside each unit but good luck figuring it out. It's all in Japanese! I gave it 2 stars because of the great location. 0 for it's customer service. If you choose to stay here, make sure your reservation for the number of people is absolutely correct or they will hound you like a loan shark!
