While Atlanta is the anchor and capital of Georgia, you can aim in any direction to find distinctly different regions – from the tail of the Appalachians in the North to the rolling Piedmont hills and on down to the seaside marshes in the East. Atlanta lays claim to the state’s number one attraction – Stone Mountain State Park. They say it best - “Serious fun. Endless adventure.” Just 15 minutes from downtown, the world’s largest exposed granite dome is surrounded by 3,200 acres of natural beauty and stimulating activities for every member of the family – sky rides and hiking paths, laser shows and pedal boats along Stone Mountain Lake. Golfers tee it up, while red foxes dash across the fairways in a state where the Masters Golf Tournament creates revered green-jacket memories every year. It’s a long downhill ride down to historic Savannah, a ‘stone’s throw’ from the Atlantic and a virtual step back in time to Southern architecture and stately squares. St. Simon’s and Jekyll Islands offer barrier island beauty and a wonderful combination of outdoor activities, historic sites and artistic culture. Originally the private winter playground of wealthy northeasterners, Jekyll Island stretches along 10 miles of coastal beaches and inland marshes. Cycling and walking paths wind under moss-laden oaks, and a tour of Millionaire Village takes you back to those Cornelius Vanderbilt and J.P. Morgan days. The kid-friendly Summer Waves Water Park adds man-made fun to natural water sport activities. Coastal golf courses and sophisticated St. Simon’s Island appeal to moms, dads and vacationing couples.

Reawaken your imaginative side in “Heart of the Arts,” or more commonly known as Midtown. You're entering Atlanta's artistic soul. Midtown South welcomes you with private balconies, a courtyard, fitness center, and bright sunlit spaces. Lace up your best pair of walking shoes and get ready to make some lifelong memories. Creativity seeps through every sidewalk crack and open doorway. Wander the streets. Let your eyes marvel at the decorative architecture. Embrace the intricate details all around you. Surrounded by green spaces, you’re never too far from a breath of fresh air. Renaissance Park, Centennial Olympic Park, or Pemberton Place are a few of our favorite spots before catching a show at the Fox Theatre. Taste the freshest Georgia peaches or fill your belly with delicious Southern comfort food (Atlanta does it best). Ready to trade your walking shoes for your go-to night-out pair? Reward yourself with a few drinks on Peachtree Street for a day well spent. As the night ends, kick off your shoes and crawl into bed at Midtown South.

My brother and I stayed here worry free, everything was accommodated as needed. Excellent cleaning staff. Left my car out front after a night of drinking and the woman at the front desk was gracious enough to call me the next morning to remind me ?

All guests will appreciate weekly rates, monthly rates, and nightly rates as well as free parking, free basic WI-fi, and 24/7 access to a guest laundry & free parking.
We spent the night of December 31, 2021, while on our way to Florida. We had no towels, no soap. Yes, we did get them. When we went to bed we pulled back the comforter and there was no top sheet. My husband was already upset saying with the price we paid and now no sheet. I called down they brought a sheet and I remade the bed. The staff was very nice at check in and when we called just so you know.

If you're looking for a mountain resort with fresh air, gorgeous scenery, and fun activities for all ages, head over to Clarkesville, Georgia. Yes, that's right… Georgia! Located near the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains (and just 90 minutes from downtown Atlanta), Apple Mountain Resort is the best spot for outdoor family fun with year-round hiking trails, nature tours, state parks, scenic views, and much more. This laid-back mountain resort sits on the edge of the Chattahoochee National Forest and features activities for the whole family. Enjoy a round of golf on the 18-hole course, horseback riding through the foothills, or a game of basketball, volleyball, or tennis. And with mini-golf, an arcade, movie theater, and activity center all onsite, you're bound to find fun at every turn. Plus, there's never a shortage of things to do nearby. During fall months, see the changing foliage and venture out to the Bavarian-style town of Helen, Georgia, for Oktoberfest.
We would return to this resort. Our villa was very clean.. sufficiently supplied with kitchen gear.. King bed was really comfy... WIFI was reliable and fast ... golf course was just right at $25 per round.. and busy .. we were able to play as a twosome.. not asked to pair up... bathroom had a two person jetted tub and then a teensy fiberglass apartment grade shower... a little odd... picnic table on our balcony needed a good cleaning but nothing that we couldn't overlook to sit outside.. we overlooked the turnout for the resort's horses.. and then a farmer's field for dairy cattle.. was very peaceful.. even if it wasn't the rolling surf of the ocean... parking was easy.. unloading was up one flight of stairs... units are well insulated for sound.. We were on the southern end of the property in Presidential Greens which is two large buildings. not a good choice for kids with families as you'd have to drive to the pool and activity center... most of our neighbors were couples like us..who were happy being away from the busier, larger complex near the activity center... grounds were well maintained.. its a quiet area . most attractions are outdoors.. hiking, waterfalls, etc. Atanta is about a two hour drive.. visited MLK historic site ... could've managed a second attraction on the same day... Stone Mountain or World of Coke, Art museum, Gardens but had plans to visit with family outside the city...Biltmore is two hours north in Asheville and deserves a FULL day to visit...

Very nice hotel! We loved everything about it. The room was very clean. Check in was a breeze. We had a room with a view of the beach and the pool (306). It was nice to be able to walk to supper each night. We will definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for approx. five days, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The location was just perfect, a walking distance to practically everything, and only a block away from River Street. We stayed in a two bedroom, and each room had its own nice size bathroom. Overall it was spacious and well kept, including a nice modern kitchen. There was a TV in each of the rooms, including the living area, plus a ceiling fan in all the same locations. We ended up leaving our car next door at a public underground parking lot, which conveniently had an access two doors away from where Bluegreen was. The only odd thing was their lobby, it had to be the smallest lobby I've ever seen, but since I wasn't planning on spending a whole lot of time in that particular area, it didn't matter. Also, the employees who we got to meet while coming and going, made its smallness unnoticeable after a while, since they were all very welcoming and jovial.

This complex is well suited for families, and others. The access to the beach for am and pm walks cannot be beat. 2 beds and 2 baths gives plenty of space and decks on each level provide beach and boat views. Download a map of complex to determine which view you would enjoy and choose an updated unit.

It started with falling out of the elevator at the York Street Condo. Nice bruises and sore for a few days, but hey, you get over it. Then we checked upstairs at the grills (on Friday) for a cookout for my daughter's graduation on Saturday. We found some problems and called a day before so it would be ready for a family get together to celebrate. However, after maintenance checked it, they didn't clean the nastiness of the grills. After that, no one returned my phone calls or texts. We ended up having to go out to eat after already spending a heck of a lot of money on groceries for the barbecue! And there were no Umbrellas to keep the sun off of you and everything wasn't nice and pristine. Have the pic from the ads. And then thirdly - the washer wouldn't wash our clothes. Error code which I called about that day. No reply. Complaining isn't in my nature. Over-communication is and rightly so. I wanted everything to go well and it didn't. It cost us more in the end. For what we paid for this graduation adventure, my daughter was upset when she should have been happy. I should also mention that that comfy couches had seen better days. It was peeling off leather onto clothes, bedding and the floor. And the fold-out bed springs were broken and unusable. The condo is ideally located, but the price was not fully disclosed. I rented it from this site because we would get one night free. However, when I mentioned that to Lucky Savannah, they said they didn't honor that at all and it was the Sites bad not theirs. For $2600 where I thought I had a $300 discount - not cool. We love Savannah. My daughter spent the last four years attending SCAD and we have stayed at some amazing places, seen incredible sites and history, attended a few fabulous ghost tours, and the food and drink was out of this world. Did I mention we love Savannah? :) And I have given great reviews on a lot of those places with more to come! That's why this pains me to write, but beware and make sure you check everything when it comes to renting a place. Make sure you understand what you are paying for and you won't feel so unlucky in the end.
