You could spend your whole Chiang Mai vacation exploring the famous Night Bazaar. Once you’ve exhausted the art of the cheerful haggle, however, there’s plenty more to explore. The National Museum and Botanic Garden are great places to soak up some local culture and to breathe in the delicate fragrance of Thai orchids. In the city’s center, the remains of ancient walls embrace over 30 temples. Limber travelers can climb 300 stairs to Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, an ornate Buddhist temple in the hills.

I am glad I picked this place for 5 nights in Chiang Mai. It is fairly well connected and also near a major fruit market so food is covered for. I had a spacious condo style studio so space wasn't an issue. Great view overlooking the pool. Great staff and peaceful place. I booked the cookery class and an elephant safari which were both great. A great place to relax and chillout. This place would have definitely got a 5 star if the internet was a bit more reliable and the pool warmer.

whatever you do, do not go hear basic room has no fridge etc, you can not use the pool or the gym, you must upgrade your room the cost of government electric is around 4 baht per here at smiths phew too much, you got to pay a big deposit, the list goes on and on, there are so many many better way cheaper places to go long term, okay you if you are a tourist then you think okay prices reasonable but long term forget this place big time

My family and I spent a lovely week here over New Year’s. It is located in the heart of the Old Town on a quiet soi. It was so nice to be on a busy street and turn the corner and be in a peaceful sanctuary (aside from the odd rooster crowing). Our rooms were very spacious and clean and the included breakfast was surprisingly delicious. But it was the friendly and accommodating staff that made our stay outstanding. The proprietor made sure all our needs were met and provided us with terrific recommendations. She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed, whether it was extra towels for swimming with elephants or an early breakfast before an all day tour. She even mailed our daughter’s favorite t-shirt that she accidentally left in the room! I can’t say enough about the fantastic staff at the Golden Wells. We cannot wait to return.

We booked deluxe triple bedroom for a night which my close friend recommended to us. We were thrilled to stay here which we had to pay half a grand for one night. The front desk was nice and friendly but once we got into our room. We were shock. Everything looks old. First, the couch and sofa in our room are old and dirty. They were used up and no more softness. It feels like sitting on the wooden chair. The cushion are dirty. Second, in our room doesn't have coffee table, only dresser table. We have to sit on the sofa or the cough or the bed to do some work. The bathroom is spacious and the water pressure is good but there is mold and doesn’t have enough amenities. There was only shower cap, shampoo, hand soap, shower gel and cotton bud so I would highly recommend to bring your own conditioner, lotion, toothbrush and toothpaste. The towel is the same quality with the bathmat. The pool is nice and beautiful but a bit small. The most important is no cloth racks to hang wet clothes. (I saw that only a few rooms have it but most of them, no.) I woke up with the underwear hanging view (It was underwear NOT bathing suit.) across my room so I'm sure that room also doesn’t have cloth rack either. For breakfast, it’s lots of selection and the coffee is great. But also the quality is not that great. There are no sign to guide you what the food is. You have to open every chafing dish which some customers are not close them and flies are landing on the food.

We been to Chiangmai more than 20 times and we been staying at the city. During pandamic, we try to find some place that safe & a bit not too crowded. Luckily we found this place which is really good option for getaway. Super relaxing atmosphere & very attentive owner. Breakfast serve from their organic farm right next to the restaurant. Freshh vegie with great taste. Love the ambiance and will stay again for sure!
