nice appartements in nice part of Douala
Reviewed By educaidconsultingWe stayed for several weeks in this residence. A good kitchenette allows you to cook for yourself. Very friendly staff! Always there to help you out. Very safe stay with guard in front. A good airco and nice bedrooms.

The hotel that likes to say "Non"
Reviewed By madamjackiePerhaps we were unlucky but our experience wasn't great. Dark and shabby room with mosquitoes but no nets. Only one large towel between two. A free small bottle of water only between us and over a two night stay. No safe or toiletries, and initially no hot water. It was a real battle to get some of these small requests resolved with the unhelpful lady at reception, who was full of reasons why not. On the plus side there was CNN on the TV and the restaurant was quite good for dinner although breakfast was extremely meagre.

Could be far better with few efforts
Reviewed By Julmo01The hotel is very well located, on a hill just above the city center, in a quiet/safe area. It's a securized place with fences and warden. They propose a lot of "appartments bedrooms" nicely equiped and ± in good maintained conditions. The rooms are cleaned every day. The main problem seems to be the lack of water: by the time we were there, there was only wanted at the tap and shower only a very few amount of time per day: say, 1h in the morning, 1h in the evening. They explained that the city water network was not working properly and that they have to ask the firework men truck to deliver water... But as far as I can remark, the pressurization system to send the water from the tank to the rooms is always failing.... On the "restaurant" side there is a HUGE problem : No menu available, they only propose the same dishes every day... basically rice with tomato sauce, chicken, steack or fish, and that's it. No cook before 7:30am (not easy when you want to leave early), no cook after 06:00pm... meaning that you cannot even have dinner! The drink list is ± acceptable. I would stongly recommend to the managing team to improve the water distrubution system, and to hire a real cook who would be able to offer a better choice of food, also in the evening. For the time being, I would recommend all new clients to push on that direction towards the management, they are not so far but the "standard" is too low for an hotel. Of course, I can understand that using this place as "appartment", the clients who cook on their own could be satisfied, but this was not my case.

Reviewed By N9750GEbernardcl appart était bien malgré quelques petits désagréments ,la clim d une chambre non réglable,pour un européen voir tout un tas d insectes de toute taille grouiller dans l appart beurk.ne pas oublier les boules quiés surtout coté route.Attention il fouille systèmatiquement les ordures.Le personnel très à l écoute .Il y avait des codes wifi mais pas moyen de se connecter.La télé panel de chaines illimitées MAIS 4 chaines d info et une catho qui marchent

Séjour agréable et reposant

La résidence est très bien situé, à 150 km de la plage et du débarcadère, il est sécurisé et avec de nombreuses places de parking. Les appartements sont très spacieux, climatisés, bien éclairés, et la hauteur sous plafon ......géniale, elle renforce cet état de bien être, d'oxygénation. La propreté est impeccable, les lits sont confortables, la literie propre, les équipements (cuisine, SdB, séjour) sont de bonnes qualités. Le plus, le personnel est agréable, courtoie et avenant. Un big up à dame qui a fait le ménage lors de notre séjour. le rapport qualité prix y est. J'ai vraient été agréablement surprise. J'y retournerai lors de mes prochains séjours à Kribi.

Reviewed By Halidu I IGood and averagely rated hotel. They provide airport pickup on request, takes about 30 minutes from airport to the hotel. The hotel is in the city centre about 1km away from Hilton hotel and a city park situated not far from the hotel. Reception and attendance very fast not complicated and no language challenge (English- French). Prices pocket friendly. My room was comfortable, toilet is good, bathing tube ok, no problem with water or electricity, television and air conditioning systems working well. Restaurant serves good menus at least the food is above average for my liken. Served both continental and local dishes, buffet. The elevator works but sometimes don't know for whatever reasons it malfunctions and normalizes itself. Almost 80% of my stay I took the staircase to the 4th floor. They should improve on security especially around the entrance to the hotel. The hotel is flexible on late checking.
