Any city that can be the butt of a Simpson's joke ("That's it! We're all going back to Winnipeg!") and simultaneously one of the most vibrant cultural centers in Canada is tops in our book. The city's history of isolation and self-sufficiency means that Winnipeggers are unpretentious and sincere (and fun-loving enough to name Homer an honorary citizen). Though the winters are long and cold, there are plenty of indoor activities to both keep you warm and stimulate your imagination.

We have recently moved to Wpg and live in the exchange district and wanted to experience a show. As it is sounded like a great one to start with and it did not disappoint! The actors were amazing and the Beatles songs that they performed were done exceptionally well! I would highly recommend this show to anyone!!!

Enjoyed a wonderful evening listening to the symphony play the music from the Chorus Line. Second half of the program was the actual "Chorus Line" musical. Very well done. Parking around the concert hall is terrible, especially with all the ice on the sidewalks and streets. Really need another parkade in the area.

We hadn't been to Celebrations in a long time; this show was better than I remembered. It could help that it was a Star Wars parody, which is up my alley. But the play was well written and acted, the set was amazing, and the singing top-notch. The food was quite good as well, especially considering the nature of the mass service nature. The roast beef was really good, and our kids enjoyed their pizzas as well. It was their first dinner theatre, and they were blown away. They loved how up close and personal it all was. I suspect they will want to go back. The only minor criticisms would be the soggy fries (again, hard to do crispy fries with a mass service) and that the show was a bit raunchy for kids at times. But kudos to the actors, servers, and management for putting on a great evening of entertainment for us!
