If you are looking for an active place to stay with world-class attractions, Ohio’s major cities can satisfy any vacation desire. Each offers its own distinct flavor of fun, from professional sports – Bengals (Cincinnati), Cavaliers (Cleveland) and Indians (Cleveland again) – to museums, outdoor activities and more. One of the most famous is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. If football is your thing, don’t miss the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton. For the science-minded, visit the meat eaters at the Carnivore Conservation Center in the Wilds near Cambridge, dedicated to the breeding and scientific study of endangered mid-sized carnivores. Kids will also love Planet Snoopy in Sandusky or the Columbus Zoo’s Zoombezi Bay Waterpark and Jack’s Landing rides.

Broadway shows are performed in this historic theater.
Do you like seeing great performances? Do you enjoy visiting older, historic buildings? You can satisfy both desires by coming to this beautiful building in downtown Columbus. My family and I have attended many great events at this theatre over many years. Seating capacity is in excess of 2,500 but for particularly popular events the tickets go quickly. I remember as a child being particularly excited to see the wonderful organ which is still in use today. So many big name stars have performed here that it would be impossible to name them all. Much of the beautiful interior is close to its' original grandeur. Among the big draws are the Columbus Symphony, ( really worth seeing ) and BalletMet. One of our favorites was The Nutcracker when our children were young. No matter what the event is a trip here is one you will not regret. Underground parking is available across the street.

One of the world’s best orchestras...what else is there to say. Even when directed by visiting conductors, the Cleveland Orchestra sound shines thorough. And Severance Hall is elegantly beautiful and acoustically superb - regardless where you sit you will feel the power or the softness of this orchestra. With an early dinner, either at The Hall or restaurants nearby, along with preconcert lecture, and enclosed parking, you can make an entire evening of wonderful entertainment and convenience.

The Schuster is a beautiful Performing Arts Center from its glass enclosed Wintergarden to its star filled ceiling in the auditorium. The acustics are first class no matter where you are seated. I have been a season ticket holder for the Broadway Series and the Philharmonic Superpops Series, plus special events since it opened, and have enjoyed every performance.

The Midland Theatre is full of history and full of great music! Our seats in the balcony were fantastic. The view was great and everything sounded good too. Free parking was an added bonus. I hope to be back for another memorable evening soon.

Great place for the whole family to enjoy. We have been there 4x this year, lynyrd, Niels, Ken, and the others are really good. You laugh so hard ( might want to bring a puppy pad) lol . Great entertainment, we always have a great time here. We always bring someone with us. We plan on coming again next year . So if you’re in Amish country, this is a must see. We have seen shakin bacon and catastrophe, would love to see the Saturday morning show with Niels , wow what more can I say, ya’ll need to come and enjoy, food is great, priced like being at the movies. Pretzels are homemade , very good at the social distancing

One of the most prestigious art museums in the country, with over 100,000 works of art, this grandiose building atop an Eden Park hill, is well-known for its 19th-century European and American paintings, but also contains numerous other works including an outstanding pottery gallery.
Terrific Museum with diverse collection. It's an excellent way to spend an afternoon wandering and discovering.
