The birthplace of the tango is, like the dance itself, captivating, seductive and bustling with excited energy. Atmospheric old neighborhoods are rife with romantic restaurants and thumping nightlife, and Buenos Aires' European heritage is evident in its architecture, boulevards and parks. Cafe Tortoni, the city's oldest bar, will transport you back to 1858, and the spectacular Teatro Colon impresses just as it did in 1908. Latin America's shopping capital offers the promise of premium retail therapy along its grand, wide boulevards.

La Nacional Tango Show Buenos Aires is The Venue giving you a True Tango Experience. We have Show + Dinner + Tango Lesson + Milonga (where locals dance tango)
Not a place that most North American Tourist find out about. This Tango show is an absolute little gem ...a secret that most traveling Latinos ARE aware of. We were so fortunate to have been recommended this place buy an Argentinian. Very intimate show while you are sitting right around the dance floor. Not the typical " Vegas like" Buenos Aires shows that North American tourists go to view. The dancers teach you also the Tango moves before the show which gives you so much more appreciation to how difficult this dance truly is. One amazing night in Buenos Aires never-to-be-forgotten! Thank you to all of the extraordinary dancers ...what talent you all have!!

"Maldita" is the milonga you want to be in Buenos Aires. A space where dancing and live music vibrates together, mixing traditional spirit and new musical concepts. This place is filled with an intense vibe that comes from the mystisicm of the orchestra, the decoration and dark ambience of the room, and the fact that this place used to be the "meca" of punk-rock´s local scene in the 90s. We have tango classes for beginners and intermediates (9pm). The Orquesta Tipica El Afronte plays its live music with a powerful new sound, breaking schemes and presenting the tango from a young and genuine perspective (11pm) And regulary after midnight, a couple of proffesional guest dancer makes a brief performance. Our milonga is an iconic space in tango scene where you´ll have the opportunity of learn how to dance tango, interact with local dancers, make new friends and truly experience Buenos Aires music of today.
Great way to see some tango while in B.A. if you don't want to go to one of the more formal/touristy Tango shows. Watch locals dance the tango while you sip on a beer or wine and relax!

This famous cafe, the oldest in Argentina, features reasonably priced tango shows in its velvet-covered back room.
We were told the tango show at Buenos Aires’ oldest coffee shop would give us an authentic experience and it certainly did not disappoint. The small theatre at the back of the cafe was charming and the waiters provided an unexpected comic distraction. The selection of food and drink was good. The performance was mesmerising. The four piece band were outstanding, the singer sung with heartfelt passion and the tangoing couple smouldered as they spun around the stage. A must for anyone visiting Buenos Aires.

Since 1867 this big old house has been established in the historic center of the City. In 1920 it was founded as a bar and then, in 1992 restored; it is now considered by the Museum of the City of Buenos Aires as a “Living Evidence of the Civic Memory” and as a “Place of Tourist Interest” by the National Tourist Secretary.
Had visited this place while on holiday in BA. The place was recommended by the Intercontinental Hotel. We could not have chosen a better show. Although we had only selected the 'show', without dinner, they had given us a table right in front of the stage. The dancers and singers were excellent, really made this a memorable night for us.
