Teatro del Bicentenario is a performing arts theatre where the audience can enjoy different artistic expressions such as ballet, contemporary dance, concerts, theatre, circus arts and opera. In fact, with the new and diverse types that the performing arts have acquired over the years, practically everything that can take place on a stage is suitable to be appreciated in this venue, which its artistic programming works as a great festival throughout the year. A premise governs the different aspects that here congregate, a profound care for the quality of the performances and for surprising the audience every time the curtain rises.

San Miguel's cabaret theater, home of the best intimate live-shows including cutting-edge theater and music, especially jazz and blues. Every Tuesday is Open Mic so come and check out our local talent!
We went for open mike night. Fun and bargain entertainment. The theatre is delightful, small, intimate, every seat is front row centre. Quality of the acts varies somewhat, but they all had their charm and covered various types of music. I had expected more comedians, just for variety and laughs. There are ofher productions in this theatre, too. Something for all tastes.

Casa Linnea is home to a unique culinary experience. Linnea is more than just a lover of food, she is inspired by the dining experience, capturing the spirit of the table, creating a mood, and evoking feelings or places through her delicate and perfectly paired meals. Whether for sunset cocktails with a spectacular view, dining at the long table, or cooking classes with Linnea herself, guests are sure to enjoy every moment within the walls of Casa Linnea.
I have been to a number of Linnea Rufo events and can assure you that you must be sure to include a visit to Linnea's beautiful home and to dine at the long table when you visit San Miguel de Allende. The view of the town is spectacular and Linnea, the consummate hostess, will have a very special evening lined up for you with delicious food, drinks, and interesting company.

This early 20th-century building is part Moorish, part Roman and part Greek and is one of the city's more noticeable landmarks.
Well worth a visit. It is very ornate and has unique old features (like a smoking rooom). We were very fortunate to see them rehearsing an opera, which was amazing

A trip to the Angela Peralta Theatre is definitely one of the best things to do in San Miguel de Allende. Named after the queen of Mexican opera, this intimate theatre hosts a variety of performances from both local and visiting artists. We saw 2 concerts here that were wonderful.
