Theatre «Tenj», the word «tenj» on Russian means shadow, was established in Moscow in 1988 by a family couple- Maya Krasnopolskaya and Ilya Epelbaum. It was the first Russian family theatre. Just from the beginning the theatre started to realize the most unusual and unexpected theatrical and artist ideas.You can see some puppets and shadow performances in Tenj, but it should be emphasized that there is no strict genre frames in Tenj theatre.
