The bohemian allure and fairytale features of Prague make it a perfect destination for beach-weary vacationers who want to immerse themselves in culture. You could devote an entire day to exploring Prazsky hrad (Prague Castle), then refueling over a hearty dinner at a classic Czech tavern. Spend some time wandering the Old Town Square before heading over to gape at The Old Town Hall and Astronomical Clock. Prague’s best bars are found in cellars, where historic pubs set the scene for a night of traditional tippling.

Original suite bar and wine shop in the centre of Prague. Come in and lose yourself … As soon as the door closes behind you and you come down the first few stairs, any troubles you might have will be a thing of the past, and you'll lose yourself in the inimitable setting of the LA SUITE BAR & WINE SHOP. LA SUITE's atmosphere of a wine bar high up in the mountains will reinvigorate you with an energy that comes from the items and articles surrounding you, some of which are hundreds of years old. You will walk over a floor made from the roof of an ancient palace, you'll put your glass on 300-year old rafter, you'll sip wine in front of a fireplace, you'll have a drink on an oak bar top or in a library – you'll simply lose yourself in the magic of LA SUITE's genius loci …

We adore European art film, however we enjoy a Hollywood blockbuster as well. We are the Filmhub, a unique brand new cinema and a coffee-bar in the center of Prague. If you love movies just like we do, you've just found yourself a new home.

Beautiful art-deco surroundings with photographs of presidents and heads of state that have eaten in this café since it’s inception in the 1890s. Through the windows you can view the Prague Castle, the river, and the National Theatre/Opera house! The food was very, very good and our waiter was attentive and helpful. The beet carpaccio and the smoked salmon pancake were our favourite items but everything (mushroom risotto, pork belly, and chicken breast) was all delicious. The desserts were homemade and worth loosening the belt a little to make room after the generous dinner portions. The “caskets” with whipped cream and caramel sauce were unlike anything we’ve ever tried before - and utterly delicious! We finished off the meal with an order of absinthe (just because there is a haunting oil painting with absinthe as the theme hanging in the restaurant) and enjoyed the live music (grand piano). Including a bottle of Czech late harvest wine, this meal was far less then the cost of very basic dinner in our home city. I highly recommend giving it a try.
