Virginia can make American history come alive. Visit Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, tour Civil War battlefields, explore the living history museum at Williamsburg… the possibilities are endless (if the kids object, break up the historical sightseeing with a visit to Busch Gardens). Arlington, site of Arlington National Cemetery, is just across the Potomac River from all the major sites in D.C. In addition to beaches and historical attractions, Virginia has plenty to offer outdoor enthusiasts. Active families will love the Blue Ridge Highlands, where hiking, canoeing and tubing are just a few of the activities offered. Couples might enjoy a romantic mountain cabin in Virginia after a day of hiking in Shenandoah National Park.

SailTime is the world's leading boating membership company, offering flexible membership options, intelligent, carefree ownership program, plus award-winning training centers. SailTime makes boating easier than ever before!
I took ASA 103/104. Coastal Cruising and Bareboat Cruising. We had an excellent orientation to the boat and its systems, then sailed for three days. The weather presented fog and wind challenges. Captain Jim did a wonderful job coaching us with our practical sailing skills, and teaching us the content in two class manuals. He was just great, and I would definitely take another class from Sail Time.

The museum was created to help preserve the history of Saxis Island and to document the lives of the people that made a living on the island and in the surrounding waters of the Chesapeake Bay. While documenting the fading lifestyle of the Saxis Island watermen, the museum will help educate current and future generations on the dangers of misuse of the Chesapeake Bay and its ecosystems.

The Spice Diva is a real find, especially if you are interested in trying out different flavorings in your recipes, and trying new ones. You cannot believe the number of spices available. The staff is great and so knowledgeable. I recommend it as a fun place to go and shop, and a real learning experience.
