Sam hosted a fabulous plant based cooking experience shared with my son and daughter as a birthday treat. We were welcomed into Sam’s kitchen with an explanation on ingredients we were using: some day to day ingredients and a few that were more unusual or seasonal. Sam did a fantastic job explaining everything we were doing, answering all our questions and coaching us through the various processes and timing. We ended up with a really tasty meal, recipes and practical tips to use in our day to day cooking and entertaining, and a lovely, lasting memory. I love Sam’s approach to food and creative ways to adapt recipes and dressings. We also were able to enjoy her fascinating art collection! Definitely a bonus.

We bought great cheese to eat, then returned for a class the next day. I learned so much, eat a fantastic lunch that was part of the class too. We made fetta, halloumi, yoghurt and ricotta. I have already put my new skills to good use at home.

OUR FARMS Northern Rivers

My name is Liz and I am passionate about education and sustainability. My background is in marine science but on many occasions I volunteered on farms to learn about sustainable farming practices and animal caring. Now, I am starting a new business around providing unique farm experiences to the community through the delivery of interactive workshops in partnership with different Northern Rivers farms.
