Vietnam's bustling largest city sets the cultural and economic pace for the country. The former Saigon boasts charming French colonial architecture and wide boulevards, usually thronged and choked with traffic. Taxis are an option for seeing the sprawling city. The War Remnants Museum shows the Vietnam War through Vietnamese eyes. Don't miss the impressive Jade Emperor Pagoda. Go to the frenetic Ben Thanh Market for food, flowers or frogs. Tour through the Mekong Delta, past rice paddies and houseboats.

The HCM Cooking Class is a unique and healthy cooking class. Not only will we teach you how to cook, but you will learn how to use food as medicine and discover Vietnamese food culture. Vietnamese food is one of the healthiest cuisines in the world. Our class is held in the most beautiful Agricultural Village where you will see our Vietnamese Medicine Garden with many different kinds of herbs, spices and vegetables. You will learn how to grow many kinds of mushrooms in our Mushroom House and experience what it is like to be a Vietnamese farmer.
Though the drive to the farm (and back) was long, it was totally worth it. The cooking class was fun and dynamic, and the dishes were simply astonishing! What a joy for the senses it was to walk in the farm, to learn about different plants, fruits, and herbs, to pick up produce, and then to prepare, cook, and savor those dishes! Some products (nuts, books) were offered for sale, but not in a pushy way at all. There was no pressure to buy anything, just a passion to share all about the farm and the cooking. I would totally recommend this class to those who love Vietnamese food and love the farm-to-table cooking experience. As for the second part of the trip (the Cu Chi tunnels), it was a thoughtful, informative walk through this historic area. Our guide shared her insight and answered all the questions from the group. At the end, we were offered some manioca and tea. A great experience altogether.

Cooking class at Grain – following the guidance of the chef and prepare a spectacular three-course meal. Each cooking class starts with a basic lesson about fish sauce, the basis of almost every Vietnamese dish, followed by some traditional yet innovative dishes to cook and taste. There is a pantry on-site where you can familiarize yourself with fresh produce, herbs and spices used in Vietnamese cuisine. In addition to learning the fundamentals of food preparation and presentation, you can expect to experience a glimpse of Vietnamese history and culture through each individual dish that you create
Arrived early to find that there were only three in the class. We had a fun and informative class lead by Chef Binh and abley supported by his helpful assistants (including a young Luke Nguyen lookalike). Learnt some valuable lessons and cooked some amazing food paired with some delightful wine.

Our business main is Cyclo Resto restaurant, and we also open Vietnam cuisine cooking classes for guests, but because our TripAdvisor page in the restaurant catalog so visitors confuse us with other cooking classes with the same name, to avoid the confusion we created a separate page to introduce the cooking class of our restaurant Chef " Chef Vu" with the real photos of Chef Vu and his class

Stay away from home, what makes us really miss is still the meal with family and Mom who is always willing to cook for whole beloved members. From the origin, M.O.M stands for the mystery of mom upon the base that we share all our experiences to give you the feeling like cooking with mom. Besides, Cau Muoi market is chosen to take adventure that experience the reality like a local, like the way we used to follow our Mom to go shopping around market when we were the children.
I attended the afternoon cooking class with my boyfriend on the last day of our Vietnam holiday, and it was definitely a highlight of the whole trip. There were 11 students in the class but we still felt like we had a personal experience. The chef guiding us on the day (Lee, I think) was very easy to understand and a very good instructor. He provided some background on the dishes and ingredients, and suggested alternatives for when we go back home. We were sent the menu when we booked so we knew what we would be cooking. I have seen other courses which offer to tailor the menu, which would be great - but the dishes we made were beautiful and I would never have considered trying them. I have seen other reviewers mention a trip to the market but we didn’t have that - maybe it is only for morning classes? We didn’t mind either way as we still had a great experience. Overall it was a great experience and fantastic was to end our trip.

Went today to learn the basics of using a pottery wheel as I've never had a chance to try. The team sat with my husband and I and showed us step by step how to create a bowl. They were super helpful and at the end the owner said to contact him if we needed some info on setting up our own home pottery area which we had discussed. I had a wonderful day, it took us about 2 hours and at the end we had some bowls which we could take home. Although they do usually need a few days for drying and glazing which the team here offered but unfortunately we as we were leaving the day after we went here we had to take our wet pieces for hopefully firing at home if it makes it there in one piece.
