What a fun taste of the weird local flavor! Dresden was a very welcoming and knowledgeable host. He facilitated meaningful conversations amongst our group that created a level of human interaction that was above and beyond any expectations I had. When the night was over, I had an affinity for Portland that I caught by seeing it through Dresden's eyes.

Chris was filling in for Marcus on our tour, and we had an amazing time! My parents were visiting Oregon from the East Coast for the first time, and I wanted them to see a different side of Oregon. Chris dazzled us with his impressive knowledge of the region, as well as the science and artistry involved in winemaking in the Willamette Valley. The drive was beautiful and we saw three wineries, each off the beaten track and each with their own unique personalities. The landscapes were breathtaking, and we became experts in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Lunch was from Elephants Delicatessen in Portland and really hit the spot - my boyfriend and I will definitely go there for ourselves sometime. It was a great way to relax, learn more about Willamette Valley, and spend time with family, all under the guidance of a friendly and approachable expert. A perfect way to convince my parents to move out West.

I have been to Oregon before, but I have never seen it like this! I went on a beautiful tour of the gorge and mount hood with the whole family. The views were fantastic, but the guides were even better! The owner TJ was charming and his knowledge of the area was top notch. I am a total history nerd, and his stories kept the kids and I entertained the whole trip. We will definitely be checking out one of the other tours next time we are back in town!

We rented electric bicycles from Renee and Kurt and spent two full days exploring Portland! The electric bikes enabled us to easily climb the steep hill to Pittock Mansion for views of the city! We found ALL of the (outdoor) things we wished to see/experience in the city, along the waterfront, and in the surrounding parks. These were "treasures" suggested in our scavenger hunt booklet!! Thank you for a glorious time in beautiful Portland, Renee and Kurt!!

We had the privilege of taking a tour of the entire Columbia River Gorge, and it is certainly breathtaking what Mother Nature has carved out. If you're looking to take your foot off the gas pedal, and exit off the proverbial fast lane of life, the Columbia River would certainly be a good destination for you!

We did a Willamette Valley wine tour. It was our second of the weekend. We had a wonderful time and the mother-daughter tandem we toured with were great. Peter, the son, was a wealth of knowledge and I believe we all had a great day. The only downside was none of the wineries had any wine skins available to purchase so we could ship our wine home. They, the wineries, need to step up.

We took three three tours with America's Hub. In fact, when they had to reschedule a coastal tour they provided us with a private downtown tour. All three tours - half day downtown Portland, half day Multnomah Falls and Columbia River Gorge, and full day coastal tour far exceeded our expectations. Phil was our tour guide for the two half day tours and Carrie was our tour guide for the full day coastal tour - they were both very knowledgeable, and offered lots of great tips on restaurants, and scenic hot spots, I would highly recommend all three of these tours,
