Entebbe is a major town in Central Uganda. On a Lake Victoria peninsula, approximately 37 kilometres (23 mi) southwest of the Ugandan capital, Kampala, it was once the seat of government for the Protectorate of Uganda prior to independence, in 1962. Entebbe is the location of Entebbe International Airport, Uganda's largest commercial and military airport, best known for the dramatic rescue of 100 hostages kidnapped by the resistance group of the PFLP-EO and Revolutionary Cells (RZ) organizations. Entebbe is also the location of State House, the official office and residence of the President of Uganda.

We were able to customize an 11 day tour through western Uganda and Rwanda, and to say that it was spectacular is an understatement! From the moment we landed, we connected with our guides Sedrick and Ben, and in Rwanda, Godfry, and had a blast. We were able to see some of the most incredible species on this planet, getting up close and personal to chimpanzees and the legendary Gorillas of Bwindi. We were able to stay with local families and interact with the communities through which we traveled. Through all of this, our guides became our friends, talking to us about the culture and way of life of the people while playing cards and dancing. A wonderful experience from start to finish!

Pamora Safaris is one of the best tour/safari operators with whom I have ever traveled – and I have traveled a lot. They were knowledgeable, caring, attentive, proactive, responsive, and very fairly priced. The guide/driver, accommodations, and every other aspect of this long and involved trip were first rate. I stumbled upon them via the internet, so I was understandably nervous. I should not have been. I worked one on one via email with the owner, Scovia, to develop a unique itinerary to include everything I wanted and nothing I didn’t. She took my wishes and came up with the perfect plan – and then made certain it was executed every step of every day. My driver/guide, Grace, was spectacular, knowledgeable, anticipated every need, and addressed every hint of concern about anything and everything. It was such a fun experience that it made me crave more time in the pearl of Africa's wilderness.I had a great time at the top of the greatest waterfall and i also enjoyed the boat cruise at the Albert Nile in Murchison falls National Park. We were also able to visit the Karamajongs in Nakapelimoru traditional village in Kotido district. We got to know how these people do their daily activities and we were also able to join them for example in dancing. The safari was extraordinary and I believe anyone would want in on the fun too.
