This was such a great tour! They picked us up from the hotel promptly. The drive felt so short to the site because there was lot to see on the way. Our guide was great, he gave us alot of information and led us safetly up the structures. Sometimes slowly because they're definitely tall! The tour in total was roughly 3 hours which gave us alot of time in the day to go see other parts of Belize.

The historic Belize City tour offers an interesting insight into the old capital city of Belize. Belize City is the largest city in the Central American region of Belize and was once the capital of former British Honduras until the government was moved to the new capital of Belmopan in 1970. The population of Belize City is 67,964; with neighboring suburbs adding up to about 80,000. Several cruise ships drop anchor outside the port and are tended by local citizens. Belize City was founded (originally as “Belize Town”) in 1638 by British lumber harvesters. It had previously been a small Maya city called Holzuz. Belize Town slowly improved its infrastructure and has been the object of numerous infrastructural projects. Nevertheless, many of the streets built from colonial days are still small and congested, a majority of houses are still susceptible to fire and damage from hurricanes.

This was not an excursion neither an adventure. This was just transportation to an island that you have to pay for everything in there. For $45 dollars they get you to an island where the only thing that has is a restaurant/bar with very rude people. A few chairs, no shade. If you want a bed that swings and is covered for the sun it cost. If you want something like a gazebo it cost. This company does not explain sincerely what this excursion was about.

Our tour guide Paul notified us in advance to his arrival. Our Airbnb address was incorrect but he was still able to locate our lodging . Our guide Paul was extremely personable, relatable, knowledgeable about historical and contemporary facts about Belize and provided us with exemplary service and an unforgettable experience. During the drive he pointed out local landmarks, historical sites, answered our endless assortment of questions and brought us up to speed on contemporary matters pertaining to the country. When we arrived at Xuantunich Paul took us to each of structure offering insight as to its significance and purpose. He also assisted us with taking photos and answering any questions that we had on the archaeological site. Cave tubing was extremely fun and Paul ensured that we were safe, having a good time as well as gave us a history lesson on caves in Belize and how they related to the ancient Mayan civilization. After tubing my sister and I enjoyed a beverage we purchased from a local vendor who placed rum, coconut milk, fresh juice and melon into a half pineapple. Paul was kind enough to let us stop at a grocery store within close proximity to our AirBnb. He also provided us with restaurant recommendations and familiarized us with the general area that we stayed in. Private Belize Adventure provided an excellent tour and an overall amazing experience. Please request Paul as he will certainly show you a great time along with educating you.

We were staying in San Pedro and all the excursions we saw online were for Jose Tours, so took the water taxi and Jose picked us up from there and made sure we got back in time to take it back over later that day! It’s was nice having a private tour because we really got to talk and connect with Jose! He is a great guy and will go above and beyond to accommodate you and your party. He also took us to a local spot after our tour was over because had some time to kill. He also took us to the airport a couple days later! He’s a reputable guy and we felt very safe with him. He’s part of our family now & we will always use him from now on when we head back to Belize!

Landscape, cultural history etc. The guy is great and you are in great hands when you book with him. Royal Belize Adventures is the way to go. I got what i paid for and then some. Percy drove me around Belize City as an added feature and it was great. Overall a fantastic day with a friendly, accomodating, and cool guide. Had the opportunity to take a day cave tubing excursion while in Belize. The trip takes about an hour each way on a bus from the late 1900's, but it worked and had been redone at some point. The site is rustic, but very functional with lockers and changing rooms. Lunch was served as part of the tour which was a quarter of a chicken and some rice/beans. The best part was the main part. Cave tubing is really something everyone should do. It is really fun, not hampered by rain...you're underground.. and the guides are wonderful. Takes a about 40 minutes to go through the caves and is very interesting. Beware...the water in the river is really cool so do don't be shocked. Be sure to take water shoes. Flip flops or sandals are really not suitable.

From start to finish this was a great tour. I think each tour would vary depending on the type of crowd you get, but in my experience this is defintely more for partiers and drinkers and people who aren't easily offended. Probably not kid freindly either. But if you are like my group and you like to drink, dance and get a little wild then this is totally for you. It was a nonstop blast. On top of all the fun they are very informative and friendly. The Rum punch and shots were free flowing. Never was there an empty cup. Kristie was a great host/bar tender. And "C" Cardinal was on point playing DJ/Host. They were very accomadating of all requets anyon had. We would totally book this tour again and reccomend anyone who wants to have a good time to do this!!

This was by far our favorite stop on our cruise!! Makes me want to live there! Captain Patrick, Jose and amazing Stacy made it that much better!! Lots of time on a boat and in the beautiful ocean! Most amazing snorkeling we've seen! Better than Cozumel and the others we've been on. Nurse sharks were amazing, Stacy wrestled one up and we got to touch it and see it up close. Saw sea turtles, lots of sting rays and beautiful coral and fish. Fed the Tarpons - what an experience! You do it and try not to scream!! Lol Our boat was covered and so comfortable with water available, fresh pineapple and of course, delicious rum punch!! Stopped for an amazing lunch by the beach. So well organized on serving lunch and was delicious. The only down side was the long wait to get on the boat having to wait for other people to come. I was so nervous since I can't swim and they stayed right with me with a life vest and made sure I got to see everything. By the end I was ready to be on my own looking around! Stacy is a class act and amazing. Thank you all for making it a special day. Belize is a beautiful, relaxed place. Stacy taught us a lot about her country, the language and so much more.
