The name of my boutique-style chauffeur and limousine service is "a friend in heidelberg". Many guests of mine told me that this very name is the perfect choice. The stops mentioned under "Itinerary" are possible destinations of our tour. I am more than happy to compose an individual tour, which is based entirely on your preferences and wishes. I was not only born in the famous historical city of Heidelberg and know the area extremely well, but also lived and worked in the US and hence speak fluent English. If you wish I can help you with the organization of your trip ahead of time. You will be chauffeured in a Mercedes S-Class, virtually a private jet for the road, equipped with all state-of-the-art features.
Inclusions: WiFi on board, Private transportation, Air-conditioned vehicle, Parking Fees, Soda/Pop, Bottled water, Coffee and/or Tea
Exclusions: Travel exceeding the mileage allotment of 20 kilometers per hour will be charged with 1.00 € per kilometer.
If you want to visit the homeland of your ancestors, Manfred Pitz is the man for the job! We were in Germany in April 2019 while on a Viking river cruise. While others in our group visited Heidelberg, my husband and I hired Manfred to take us to the Palatinate to see the town where my great-great grandparents lived before moving to the US. Manfred was able to locate the minister of the church were my ancestors were married, and we were able to tour the church, which normally is locked on weekdays. He contacted distant relatives who operate a restaurant that carries my family name, and arranged for a private lunch for us. My distant relatives do not speak or read English, and Manfred served as translator throughout our visit. (Manfred has lived and worked in the United States, and his English skills are excellent.) Thanks to Manfred, our visit was the most memorable part of our vacation. The name of his company, "A Friend in Heidelberg" says it all. He is more than a chauffeur. He is more than a tour guide. He is the consummate professional and a dear and true friend.

Riding a bike is probably the best way to discover Strasbourg. With over 300 miles (500km) of cycle paths covering the whole Eurometropole, cyclists can easily keep away from fast-moving cars and enjoy a relaxed visit.
