A peaceful town on the northern coast of Morocco, Asilah is a tranquil and beautiful destination on the Atlantic Coast. Offering a refuge from the nearby bustling cities of Tangier and Tetouan, Asilah features deserted, quiet beaches and a relaxing atmosphere. The town has Mediterranean-influenced buildings, including whitewashed houses with blue accents on walls and doors. The array of houses decorated with paintings highlights the island's reputation as an artists' hangout.

I requested the services of Chefchaouen Adventures for my family's visit to the region of Chefchaouen because we'd be before and wanted do something beyond the visit to the old city and the hike up the Akchour falls. Mohammed Yassine (MY), after taking into account the physical shape of everyone in the group (5 adults of ages 28 to 70 and 2 dogs), suggested we hike in the national park of Talassemtane which I had never heard of. He was very good about explaining what the hike entailed and made all of the arrangements - 4*4 rental, lunch, water. MY is a great guide who is extremely knowledgeable about the region of Chefchaouen, medicinal plants, and many other things - He kept us entertained and interested during the trip, so much so that my aunt - who typically doesn't enjoy physical exercise - loved the outing and declared it an wonderful idea. MY provided excellent advice on restaurants in Chefchaouen and was very accomodating when we decided to change our next day agenda. It was a great trip and I'll definitely be using Chefchaouen adventures again and recommend MY to anyone wanting to visit Morocco!

We consider ourselves very lucky to have found this company for our Moroccan adventure. There was no better nor cheaper nor safer nor more enjoyable way to do it. From the first to the last day, our driver/guide Aissa took such a good care of us. We had excellent hotels chosen for us, great sightseeing and amazing guides, chosen by this company. We were driven around 3000km in a sparkling clean, brand new Mercedes Vito, just the two of us. We had freedom to chose between starting times, activities and much more. Aissa was so flexible and accommodating. He gave us exactly the amount of information we needed, allowing us to relax when we needed it. He was so appropriate, correct and civilized during these 10 days, and through him and his care, we managed to experience Morocco to the max, in the most positive way. We loved the country and the tour and the people, and Aissa takes the lion share of the credit. Well done, we will be back

Asilah, the first harbor of the Atlantic coast, was founded in the 8th century BC by the Phoenicians, who named the settlement Zili. Asilah was a constant battle ground. In 1589, control passed from the Portuguese to the Spanish, who held the town for 80 years before Sultan Moulay Ismail stormed the defenses in 1691 The Spanish built a Harmonious New Town beside the Medina, from which a slowly evolving new harbor and beaches extend northwards along the coast. On a recent trip to Morocco we were given an opportunity to have an extra day of leisure in Casablanca. With some research we soon realized that we would be seeing all of the top attractions in Casablanca during our tour so we started to research the day trips available from Casablanca. This day trip to Tangier drew our attention because it was one place not included in our tour but we were unsure of the tour because it had no reviews. We decided to take a chance and we were very pleased. In fact, this day trip was one of the highlights of our trip. We were met at the Tangier train station by our local guide Bilal who was excellent. Bilal and the driver took the three of us on a fantastic tour of Tangier which included the Tangier Medina, the Hercules Cave and much more. We had a delicious lunch in a small family run local restaurant which was not included but was reasonably priced. We even had a chance to take a ride along the beach on some dromedaries (one humped camels). The high speed (298 km/hr) train ride from Casablanca to Tangier which is include is two hours each way allowing a chance to see the landscaping along the coast of Morocco. Just make sure you receive your train tickets prior to your tour. All in all an excellent day. I would recommend.
Your official tour guide and private luxury vehicle or minibus with driver will pick you up in your hotel or place of choice in Tangier. After the pick up, we’ll take a ride through different neighbourhoods and surrounding areas, including several stops at amazing viewpoints, a short break at Cape Spartel where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, a visit to the mythical Caves of Hercules and as well to enjoy a 15 minute camel ride! The second portion of the tour, consists of an extensive walk through the maze of narrow streets and alleyways of the Kasbah (fortress), for an insight into a rich architectural heritage that includes a 15th century city wall, and numerous buildings of Arab-Andalusian style, that have inspired great artists and painters among them Eugène Delacroix, Henri Matisse.. We will then head towards Asilah to get to know this unique city. Walk around the city and enjoy its narrow and beautiful old town feeling. - SAVE COVID-19 SAFE

We loved our food tour with Youssef! He was very friendly and made sure we tried foods from his favorite local spots. He was very warm when answering our questions about the local culture and made us feel like we were getting a unique experience by sampling a variety of street vendors. Any visitor will be lucky to have Youssef as a guide!

Ahmed was very friendly, informative and honest. We only had a few hours available and he made sure we got back to the boat on time. We were able to see a lot more than we would have been able to see on our own. If we had more time we would have loved to have him take us to see other areas as well. He has a nice van he can use to take people on tours. We would highly recommend using Ahmed and will use him again when we return.
