Spyros is an incredibly enthusiastic, kind and proud owner of his collection of antiquities, geological stones and minerals and artifacts depicting Greek mythology and Greek gods! The paintings on the ceilings we found especially beautiful! Spyros gave us a personal and enthusiastic tour and told us about his findings with a lot of wit. We would definitely recommend going here! It is a good way to see a broad spectrum historical Greek treasures!

Featuring an interesting collection of farming implements, guns, tools, ancient artefacts and much more, this cosy little museum offers an insight into the life of locals and history of Rhodes. For nature lovers, the museum also has samples of native and non-native plants which the owner will for sure share some interesting facts about.
If you are round the area I highly suggest visiting this lovely little museum, so much to see and cheap for what its worth. Great to go along with friends or family, owners will give you a full tour and explain anything needed to know. They also have a really nice little gift shop for you to take some lovely souvenir's home.

We spent an entire afternoon (to avoid the rain) here so the entry fee was good value. Most of the machines were working and I think we collectively played over 80 pinball machines! From the 1960s to present day. Friendly staff and a something really unusual. Worth a visit!

A unique museum with reconstructed inventions of the ancient greek world! Interactive exhibits-replicas from the 7th c. BC.
The building may only be small world standards but it houses a wealth of knowlege regarding ancient Greek inventions. I was staggered to learn that centuries ago pilgrims visiting a holy shrine were able to use what apparently was one of the first inventions of a slot machine that would dispense a quantity of holy water by placing coins in the slot that fell onto a balance, which then opened a tap dispensing a measured amount of the water! This museum is full of similar technical inventions from industrial to medical use. If you are in Katakolo be sure not to miss this one

it was situated in the heart of athens, in a very beatiful street called plaka. a very old and full of character building. the museum itseld was amazing, with a very realistic classroom in the bottom floor showing how it used to be in the old days. the kids loved it. we recommend it to everyone who is a teacher or loves old books, history, ad also families with children as there are also many workshops happening including a summer camp!
