We stayed here 6 nights over the holiday the visit family. We found the room average, somewhat run down in appearance. The bed was comfortable so that was a plus.our cold breakfast was my biggest complaint. My breakfast was cold, on 2 occasions. My tea water was tepid, I gave up and ordered yogurt after that. The TV keep buffering and my husband was watching a football game. He was not happy. I doubt we will go back

Lodging for the modern explorer. Inspired accommodations, epic amenities, + the great outdoors. DC | Baltimore | Philly | Pittsburgh
We visited River Mountain for one night Mothers Day weekend. We are a family of 5 and had two yurts. Our dog was able to come with us. We had a great night, even in the rain. We were greeted by two staff members and they took us to our yurts to get us settled in. The yurts had a pellet stove which was perfect ( and needed) for the weather. There is a short trail to the main activities building and the main dining area. Our children liked the activities building with games, ping pong, football, etc. The main dining area has three communal tables and is very quaint with a fireplace for cold days. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast the following morning. The bathroom facilities were very clean and a short walk from the yurts. We absolutely loved it, the low key, family atmosphere and being outdoors. We look forward to visiting again. It’s a gem of a place, so lucky we found out about it.

Hickory Hollow Campground is a full service recreational vehicle and tent camping resort with 50 amp electric, water, sewer and cable TV hookups. 2 rustic style cabins and 2 full-service cabins with amenities are available to rent. Amenities include a modern bathhouse, a large pavilion for camper use, 5 acre fishing lake, miles of hiking and biking trails, swimming pool, basketball, horseshoe and volleyball courts and a playground.
We stayed overnight on our way East. This little gem is a bit off the interstate but well worth it. Family owned and meticulously maintained. Bathrooms/showers were immaculate - they even have a laundry facility. Too bad we couldn't stay more than a night. There is a bike trail relatively close by. We will definitely return!

Experience Happy Valley! Tucked in the Appalachian Mountains on more than 70 acres, this quiet setting offers rural beauty next to Amish farms, yet it is close to the action at Penn State University. Take advantage of the local museums, great fishing and natural caves. Be sure to visit Victorian Bellefonte. The campground offers a splash pad, a stocked fishing pond, two playgrounds, a sports area and a new Jumping Pillow. Spacious Patio RV Sites feature a grill, a built-in fire pit and patio furniture. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 90 feet. Your hosts: Rick, Barb and Casey Dillon.
This KOA has super friendly staff, a great pool, a super clean laundry room and I always felt safe. It is my favorite site to stay at during the football season in the State College area. We stay all fall. Fellow Penn Staters are very friendly. It is close to the Beaver Stadium and only takes about 10-15 minutes to get there.

Located in historic and beautiful Bedford County, Pennsylvania, where we have more covered bridges than stoplights! Life here seems to move at a slower pace, and we like it that way. We're family-oriented, providing activities and games for everyone, so be sure to bring the kids and grandkids along! Our park is "big rig friendly," offering shaded and non-shaded sites, with a variety of pull thru and site hook-ups available. We even have campsites along our lower lake and beside the trout stream. Bedford County offers plenty to do and see, but many guests come here just to relax. You can challenge your companions to a round of miniature golf or a game of laser tag, swim in our 2 pools, play shuffleboard or horseshoes, walk or bike the 1/2 mile track around our 5 acre lake, or paddle a boat on our lower lake. Fishermen will love to test their skills with the bass stocked in our lakes. Everyone is welcome to our Saturday Night "Gospel Sings" held in the old barn. Afterwards, enjoy fresh, popped popcorn made over an open campfire in a large black kettle. We're freeway-close, just two miles off the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Exit 146, but a world away from what you know. Whether you're here just for the night, or plan an extended stay, come see us at Friendship Village Campground and RV Park.
We stay as a family with friends at other sites. Nice place to stay. We stay here at least one weekend a month during camping months. My kids love the popcorn on Saturday evenings. I will always recommend this campground. We can take our own golf cart too. Although they still charge a daily rate to drive my own golf cart that we supply gas etc for . I dont agree with that.

Open year round! Ideal Getaway for Hunters, Fishers, Bikers, Penn State Fans, and families who love the outdoors! Fast and easy access to Penn State University. Surrounded by many state parks, and dual sport trails to ride on! Come check us out!
The booking process was very easy. The staff reached out to me prior to our trip to ask if we had questions, gave us very clear instructions on how to enter the park, and since we were checking in late, said that all would be ready for us. The park was very well kept. We will certainly be back!

Buttonwood Campground is a family oriented, full-service campground with tons of activities, amenities, and friendly staff to make your visit enjoyable! The RV sites are large, level sites with 30 or 50 amp electric hook up, sewer, water & cable. Camp at a tent site or in one of the lovely cabins as well. Enjoy a float down the Juniata River, do some fishing, then relax around a campfire. Kids and adults can participate in our scheduled activities. The mini-golf, laser tag, water wars, swimming pool, and jumping pillow appeal to the young and young-at-heart alike! Contact Buttonwood Campground for your next camping adventure!
Buttonwood is probably the cleanest and most friendly campground we have stayed at. Will definitely be back next summer. Next time we will be sure to bring friends along. Clean spacious sites and nice cabins.

Park your rig or pitch a tent and unwind at the 2020 Campground of the Year, Uniontown KOA, an ideal setting for relaxation and recreation. Situated between the Youghiogheny River and the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail, every campsite comes with a view of the trail or river. Cast for trout or launch a canoe (rentals available) into the Youghiogheny. Or set off on a bike ride of any length along the 150-mile trail. Enjoy KOA's themed weekends spring through fall, DJs and live bands, bonfires and music by the pool. Plan a day trip to Laurel Caverns, Kennywood amusement park and Fort Necessity. Fallingwater, one of Frank Lloyd Wright's homes, lies just a half hour east. Winter camping by reservation only.
Many families on vacation here with many kids. Facilities are wonderful for that use with 2 pools, snack bar, good-sized store, bike trail, river activities, etc. However, we were only there for an overnight and were assigned Space T-5. Every vehicle exiting day and night passes by T-5, so sleep was impossible from 5 am on. We would not suggest this KOA for an overnight stay.

Stayed here in October. I am an adult-but I had the best time ever! So festive for Halloween. Every campsite is decorated- I mean decorated! I wanted to dress up like when I was a kid, really brought back memories of trick or treating. Very well maintained camping area. Going back again this Oct. and I am going to dress up this time!
