Didnt feel safe here at all. group of girls wandering camp all night screaming, chanting, singing, yelling. The group got bigger as the night went on. The after hours number was useless as no one answered. No security or management around in the camp after hours at all and it was downright scary. A tent down from us said someone peed on their tent in the night. Avoid at summer - its like sardines and so so so busy. sad as its an amazing beach, but maybe consider bethany camp instead

Our Tahuna Beach Holiday Park Concierge Service can book all activities in the region for our guests on site as well.
Lovely stay at this campground. Very tidy and clean facilities. Next to cycleway which is great. One downfall is it is near the airport and planes fly overhead. They do stop after 9.30pm and start again at 6.30am which was OK.

Motueka is the gateway to the stunning Abel Tasman National Park, home to one of New Zealand's 9 Great Walks and where one day is definitely not enough. Motueka is the closest service town to the Abel Tasman National Park - your local tropical paradise. In Motueka, you can try horse trekking, tramping, sea kayaking, tandem skydiving, helicopter or fixed wing flights and swim in clear blue waters. Motueka TOP 10 Holiday Park is only 300m to the centre of Motueka for shops, banks, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants. If in town over the weekend make sure you check out the local market located in Decks Reserve each Sunday from 9am-1pm. We highly recommend getting a German Bratwurst sausage from Doris. Sit back and relax in our peaceful park like grounds, amongst mature trees & native birdlife. We offer a range of quality accommodation and spacious sites for campervans, caravans & tents. You’ll also have access to a modern, open plan conference room which can be set up to meet your specific requirements. We offer a complete booking service for all sightseeing, transport and adventure activities in our region. Ask us first. Our local knowledge is extensive and we guarantee you won't get a better deal elsewhere. You may even need an extra night or two! Motueka TOP 10 Holiday Park is proudly owned and operated by Ashlee and Ben Ilton who purchased the Holiday Park from Jeanette and Steve Edwards in April 2019.
If you are in the Nelson area stay at Motueka Top 10. Our unit had more facilities than more expensive motel units. Great bathroom with lovely hot water. Main area was roomy and beds were extra comfortable. Friendly service from staff.

Offering free Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool and free on-site parking, Richmond Motel & Holiday Park is just 5 minutes' walk from shops and restaurants. It features apartments with a fully equipped kitchen and a private courtyard patio. The property is 15 minutes' drive south of Nelson. The Richmond Motel is 5 minutes drive from ASB Aquatic Centre and Saxton Field Sports Complex. It is 8 minutes' drive from the World of Wearable Art. Kaiteriteri Beach and Abel Tasman National Park are both within an hours' drive. Communal facilities include a shared kitchen, a guest lounge area and a laundry room. You can shared an outdoor meal in the BBQ area, while younger guests can enjoy the children's playground.
This is the worst place I have stayed at. I originally booked for two nights a the low end of their range. I then reconsidered and booked a further night, total of three nights, and before I could ask for a better room I was offered a free upgrade, which I gratefully accepted. However on arrival I was downgraded to a box with a bed for $75 a night. You can get much better accommodation for that price. I strongly suggest you look somewhere else for budget accommodation.

Golden Bay Holiday park is located on the beach in the centre of Golden Bay, halfway between the Abel Tasman National Park and Farewell Spit. It is a spacious park comprising 210 campsites, 2 luxury apartments, 6 cabins and a self-contained cabin. The park is in a rural area at the end of a private road and is bounded by bush and pasture, with a river down one boundary and fronted by its own private beach. There is no street noise, and no street lights to disturb the natural setting. In the morning the sun rises out of the sea, and a beach fire in the evening is the perfect way to finish your day. We are dog friendly in our low peak season from beginning of March to end of November.
Left the main highway and drove down quite a long way to reach the camping grounds only to find that they were closed and no one was to enter under any circumstances. I understand that people may be worried about Covid but surely a sign on Billboard on the main highway would save people the trip to the camp. I rate it low due to owners not displaying closed on the bill board and cannot answer any questions on amenities.

The Sandcastle was an absolutely perfect place to stay for us and a wonderful location. Dog friendly too! Only 5 mins walk from Pohara beach and a bit further for local laid-back cafes, a store and restaurants/beer gardens. Short drives to Takaka, Collingwood, the mussel inn, and near to beautiful forest walks and also kayaking, SUPs and great swimming nearby with Golden Bay kayaks at Tata Beach. Location is quiet, spacious, clean, away from the road and surrounded by fields and hills, Self contained cabins have everything you need, clean, spacious, with a deck to have breakfast or a wine on - overlooking the lush lawn, wee stream and pizza oven/beer garden. A yoga hall on site also offers classes and massage. Steve is a fantastic host - relaxed and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We have already booked our return stay!

Cable Bay Holiday Park is one of those off the beaten track experiences, situated on a farm that is on the site of the first international telegraph Cable Station (1876). Guests can swim, take a guided Kayaking trip, visit Happy Valley Adventures, walk the Cable Bay Walkway or just enjoy the peace of Cable Bay at neighbouring Cable Bay Cafe.
A very special place needs a great camp. The owner operators of this holiday park and lovely and friendly. Booking recommended in summer though we managed to get powered site on the day. Great facilities: kitchen and lounge, bathrooms with super showers. Just a stone's throw to the beach and set amongst the bush and many walking tracks. We came for the adventure park but just stayed in the grounds and swam at the beach. If travelling in motorhome, ensure your tank is low or empty as no wastewater drop point. Very relaxing and highly recommended - but remember your bug spray if you get bitten like me!

Lounge room with comfy sofas is cosy and wonderful for playing games, watching DVDs or just relaxing. Hosts Stu and Andi just great people.... definitely include this when visiting Marahau ?

Our classic Kiwi camping ground is just steps away from the gorgeous Marahau beaches. We’re also located right next to the departure point for sea kayaking and water taxi trips into the Abel Tasman National Park. This makes us the perfect base for your Abel Tasman adventure.
Super helpful service from the caretakers getting our car started when our battery was flat. He was a lifesaver. The backpacker lodge we stayed in was very clean and perfect for our group. Marahau Beach at sunrise was beautiful and one minute's walk away.
