Overlooking Maputo Bay, 2x 3 bedroom wooden houses and 3 x 1 bedroom wooden houses. We also have 4 campsites available.
This is one of the places that one must visit in Machangulo Beach. Everything was a wonderful surprise for my husband and I in this place: delicious food, great personal alattention from the owners, amazing views and the facilities to visit the natural reserve. We had unforgettable moments in this place. I just would like to mention the need of mosquito nets on the bed, that would make this place just perfect. Thank you guys!

Situated on the extreme southern end of pristine Mozambican coastline, Tartaruga Maritima is an exclusive self-catering luxury tented camp on a large private coastal estate offering privacy and tranquillity to the discerning nature lover and adventurer. Tucked away in thick forest - only metres from the beach - eight luxury en suite tents erected on wooden decks are connected with a walkway through the Milkwood trees to the main lodge elevated on stilts with a spectacular view of Malongane bay. The lodge houses the dining and living area as well as the well-equipped kitchen for the use of the guests. A dive centre offering daily trips to the nearby reefs for scuba diving, surf safaris and swimming with dolphins is a 15 minute walk away along the beach and the picturesque village overlooking an inland lake behind the camp is an ideal venue for a late afternoon sundowner and a delicious seafood dinner. The region is a crisscross of sandy tracks through a vast undeveloped and unpopulated wilderness area where until recently the legendary wild elephants of the Maputo Elephant Reserve roamed freely. Guests without 4x4s can arrange Border Transfers to meet them at the Kosi Bay border post 14kms away.
Very nice place at the Ponta Malongane’s beach. Tents are secluted inside the bush and well equipped. Very comfortable and quiet. Had a very well slept night. It is a self-catering place, with a very well equipped common kitchen and agreeable common living room. Staff is vrey friendly and helpful. Security is tight. If you seat at the deck of your tent you might be visited by friendly small monkeys. The beach is marvelous, although we picked some plastic garbage from the sand. In the right time you might get lucky and watch turtles coming ashore or the little ones going to sea. I recommend it for couples or small families (the bigger tents).

Welcome to the New Montego resort, the true Mozambique holiday destination. Montego Resort is a tranquil and affordable Mozambique holiday destination for fun-loving and nature-orientated guests with its rustic bungalows, huts and terraced campsites nestled in the pristine coastal forest with large Milkwood trees and ancient cycads with their scarlet fruit. The resort overlooks a unique stretch of the pristine Mozambique seascape where Pirates Point juts out to meet the famous Chongoene reef creating a sheltered little bay and where the colonial ruler, Senhor Alho (who gave his name to the area between Xai-Xai and Chongoene) had his holiday house right on the water's edge and the ruins are being exposed by the waves at high tide.
The place is bongalo unites with nice and tasty bar. The units and clean the bads are comfirtable and the stuff are very frendly. Recommend not as a romantic place but as comfirtable place to sleep in the area.

As a beach resort, Praia de Peixe is just amazing! The rooms are basic, but comfortable, with a large communal area inside and out, with the beach a short walk away. The food and of course the prawns, is great, with a good selection of different drinks (and wines) Great to just come and chill for a weekend or mid week break. The road from the bridge is a birdwatchers delight a beach resort, Praia de Peixe is just amazing!

Lounging around the pool, with a infamous R&R chilling on the ice, served by our friendly staff, will leave you relaxed and completely content by what Mozambique has to offer. Lugar do Ceu boasts an extensive menu, tailored to cater for your every taste, whilst soaking up the beautiful sunshine days … Our complimentary breakfasts with your booked holiday, ensures that you get every day off to the perfect start, before the tedious task starts of deciding weather to hit the beach or enjoy a cocktail poolside…
We had a lovely time at Lugar do Ceu. It is a gem hidden in the middle of nowhere in Mozambique with beautiful beaches and lovely accommodation. The owners, management and employees are very friendly and helpful. They entertain the kids while you can sit in the pool with a lovely R&R! Will definitely visit again!!

Some friends and I decided to go to Tan 'n Biki for lunch. We got there early and we were charged entry at the gate to go in?????? We ordered a drink on arrival, and that was the last drink we were served, as no waiter came to ask if we wanted more drinks. We ordered a focaccia to share as a starter, which was tasteless and only a quarter cooked. Luckily our salads saved the day, as they were simple but nice. I must say the staff were helpful, and we did have a restful day out. There were no management on duty. Some cushions or a mattress on the sun loungers would have made our seating a lot more comfortable

Overall, I had a fantastic time at Jay's... I did have one issue, and this was the attitude and presence of one of the female owners/managers. She spoke extremely rudely to her staff, which is unacceptable. I understand that the property is hers to manage, but the people are not...and they were spoken to as though they were property. I would recommend staying here, though I also recommend Jay's Beach Lodge finds a more compassionate and "with the times" manager, as her general attitude seemed extremely dated, and even more so inappropriate. George, who runs the bar, as well as the day staff who are around and always working, were extremely kind and helpful, and truly made it feel like a vacation.

The Wakene Beach Estate located on 18 acres of Coastal Dune Forest with its own beach front, only 2km North of Ponta Malongane, 7km from Ponta do Oura and 15km from the Kosi / Farazelle border. We offer a few types of accommodation. There are 4 beach and dune villas, a luxury tented camp, 12 campsites, all with their own private ablutions and kitchenette as well as 3 dune chalets.
What a beautiful self catering lodge overlooking the stunning Mozam coastline. Top amenities with a pool and serviced daily by a behind the scenes not in your face lady. This private beach estate offers many more similar lodges with 4 main en suite bedrooms and is well worth a visit.
