We opened "Jardin Kotori", luxury desert camp in Merzouga Morocco! "Jardin" means garden in French, "Kotori" means little bird in Japanese. We named "Jardin Kotori" to hope our camp will be a paradise oasis in desert.
This was the best experience ever! Omar really went above and beyond to give us the best experience we could wish for. Also his brothers and friends at this location are more than nice. For example, when we got back a little late from the sunset, they already came looking for us because they were sincerely worried. So sweet!! In addition, we had (by far) the best food here in the 3 weeks we were in Morocco and that's saying something! The awesome people here don't want to give you an experience here like all tourists have in the desert, but much, much better! We came here as tourists but left as family. These people will stay in our hearts forever. If you want to get the most out of your stay at the desert, and a (way) better experience than the average tourist, then you have to stay with these amazing people!!

For those seeking comfort in the heart of the desert. Our camp Les Clee de desert is comfortable and authentic well equipped tents beds, hot showers. A moment under the stars you will not forget.
Our group of 3 friends stayed in the camp for 2 nights in early March 2022. Our visit was part of a larger private tour booked with Morocco Key Travel. We had the whole camp to ourselves and it was wonderful. I tell everyone back home that visiting the desert was my favorite. After arriving by camel we were shown to a spacious and fully appointed tent. Three beds, carpets everywhere, lighting, a full bathroom, and plenty of blankets. Outside, there were rugs as walkways between the sleeping and dining tents. Lights were out between 11 and midnight, and we slept well. Between excursions out to Merzouga and nearby Berber encampments, we relaxed in the cabana with tea, and tried sandboarding. At night, songs by the fire. And oh the food...hearty soups, fluffy bread, flavorful Berber omelets.

A nice opportunity to have a good time after a hard work session in Tifina, a pleasant space, especially as it is characterized by a beautiful and comfortable mud beach in addition to a wonderful swimming pool and a variety of natural Moroccan food, I thank Pascal for the warm welcome and I will not hesitate to return again

this inn is built in a traditional way with typical Berber decoration is full compact desert.
I have been in Tafraute with a group of friends and we camped at camping tafraute montagne. The camping is located on the way to the old Paris-Dakar road . The place is very peaceful and with a breathtaking sunset. We enjoyed the hospitality of the owner who prepared a delicious tajine. The hostel also has rooms with comfortable beds and showers with hot water. I recommend this hostel to everyone who is visiting Tafraute. Ana

Eco-friendly solar powered deluxe camp in Erg Chebbi wilderness preserved area with spectacular views over desert to High Atlas Mountains. Your deluxe authentic Berber nomad tent made of hand-woven camel & goat hair has king/twin beds, authentic Berber carpets, atmospheric Moroccan lanterns, en suite: hot & cold water shower & toilet. Complimentary meals, water, camel ride, Merzouga return transfer.
My husband and I stayed here as part of a Berber Treasures Morocco tour and just loved this camp. We felt treated like honoured guests. We were taken from the kasbah we stayed in on the edge of the Sahara dunes to the camp and stepped out onto red carpet. Our tent was spacious with carpets on the sand floor, equipped with a four-poster bed (apparently we had the most luxurious tent) and a low table with pouffees and an en-suite with toilet, basin and shower. Water pressure is low but when you want a shower, just ask for the pressure to be increased. We had a camel ride to part way up a dune then scrambled up the top ostensibly to see the sunset but sadly the weather didn’t cooperate. A lovely ride though and amazing views. Getting on the camel was ok but the camel rising and sitting down is a bit alarming as it lurches back and then forwards, or is it v.v., but staff helped stabilise us. We had pre-dinner nibbles at a little table on a small rise then had a beautiful four course dinner. Really delicious. One of the courses was eggplant (aubergine) tagine with tomato and cheese. My husband is not keen on eggplant but he really enjoyed this. Breakfast was at the same table. We are so thankful we decided to do a tour that included going to the Sahara. You get a totally different experience of Morocco than if you just do the usual tourist trail of Chefchaouen, Fez, Marrakech and Casablanca. In addition even just the drive from Fez to Merzouga (the nearest village) is really interesting and the drive from Merzouga to Marrakech via Quarzazate over the High Atlas is absolutely stunning.

We created Ali & Sara's Desert Palace with the aim that our guests could experience the beautiful and natural setting of the desert, staying in clean & comfortable surroundings where the focus is relaxation and enjoyment, together with some safe adventure. Nestled well within the dunes, we're about an hour or so from Merzouga village by camel and 20-30 mins by 4x4. If preferred we can collect clients from around Morocco or if travelling independently we can greet you on your arrival in Merzouga village for you to enjoy light refreshments before setting off by the desert ship, the camel to your home for the night. Our aim is to remain as environmentally friendly as possible and lighting is by a combination of candle and solar power. We pump water from our own water well and guests can take hot water showers, with laundered towels and toiletries provided in a large dedicated bathroom which also houses a separate flush toilet. Dining is in under the stars or in our separate well furnished restaurant and food is freshly prepared to suit personal preference, served at a time to suit. We wake our guests to see sunrise although it's not obligatory and breakfast is served at a time to suit, there's no early morning rush or hurry on our part for our guests to depart. Our aim is for guests to have an exceptional and complete desert experience, we take great care of our clients and we pride ourselves on our service, always on hand, but unobtrusive.
We had such a wonderful and unique experience at Ali and Sara’s. Booking and communicating with Sara was smooth and responsive. Mohamed, our host could not have been more attentive, often anticipating our needs and patiently answering all of our hundreds of questions about the camp and Morocco in general. Ahmad, our guide into the desert was friendly and engaging with excellent English. He even gave us mini lessons in Berber as we watched the sunrise and sunset over the Sahara. This rates high on my list of travel experiences and I highly recommend you do an desert excursion and stay at Ali and Sara’s if you get the chance. It will not disappoint!

We have 2 Camps in different location , one with ( 5 tents ITS MERZOUGALUXURY DESERT CAMPS ) AND THE OTHER ONE ERGCHEBBILUXURYCAMPS 15 TENTS Tranquillity, luxury and friendly Berber hospitality in the middle of the desert... accommodate For 4 or 10 Maximo and other camps for 30 people in 15 spacious tents Each tent is equipped .
We spent 2 nights of our 18 nights in Morocco at this tented camp and it was by far THE BEST food we had in Morocco! WOW! The cocktails by the fire before dinner were excellent, the music after dinner also excellent. Some of the best service we experienced, especially our first night and morning there. Do BOTH camel rides: the evening and the morning! The sunset wasn't the greatest the night we did it, but the sunrise the next morning over the dunes was spectacular. A/C in the tent worked great.

Molto disponibili nell’ indicare varie attività extra.
